Many thanks to yelp for recommending Silo Cafe. Outstanding menu items, welcoming staff, charming mood - what more could you ask for? Silo Cafe has an amazing Cold Salads, this dish will blow you away with its unbelievable taste and flavor. The working staff was really attentive and extremely knowledgeable of the menu items. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon.

I come here almost everyday during the work week for lunch so I figured it was about time I write a review! First of all, the beverage and snack options are plentiful. I've learned about many new San Pellegrino flavors because of Silo. Secondly, the make your own salad bar has fabulous topping options. I recommend the tomato basil salad dressing. In addition, the hot bar is always One recommendation I have is that they should have strips of grilled chicken at the hot bar. Sometimes I pick it out of the chicken caesar salad that they have there when really they should just have plain grilled chicken. I've also been for breakfast where they primarily make omelettes and breakfast sandwiches. I don't recall if they have the hot bar open during breakfast, but I don't believe so. By far the best thing about silo is their prices! Very affordable and delicious at the same time. But you do have to spend over $7.00 to use a credit card.

i work in this area and went to check out silo cafe and i will say its a decent spot. there is a wide range of food that they have to offer which is awesome. the cooks behind the counter are very nice.. they always start up a nice conversation with whoever is ordering. only negative i see here is the prices. A corn muffin with butter was like 3.75! should be like 1.75 or so but that is the bodgea style pricing. you can spend a pretty penny there i will check it out from time to time.

Just want to thank the manager, staff, and my boys at the grill serving up breakfast today... Thank you for serenading me and playing the Happy Birthday tunes. And not just today but every time I'm there, many thanks for the warm and friendly service. Appreciate the birthday wishes!!

Let me start off by saying I love this place for breakfast and lunch. Every one of the guys behind the counters are really nice and very accommodating to whatever you ask. I often choose the salad bar food and have never gotten anything that tastes old, refrigerated, or drowned in too many condiments. It is always fresh and very tasty (hat's off to the chef). But, there's a big however here....twice in the last two weeks, I have chosen salad bar food that included red and green peppers, and both times I discovered a sticky label still on the pepper. Gross. My thought here is: Are they not washing the vegetables they are using? Eeewwww. Or was someone just too lazy to peel if off? Either thought grosses me out. The first time, I let it go figuring, "Ok, it can happen." But twice! I see a pattern here and while I will not stop eating here, rest assured I will never pick anything that has peppers in it again. Although it does bring me to the question: "If they didn't wash the peppers, do they not wash any of the other vegetables they use in salads"? Very disappointing to a loyal customer to say the least. If not for this issue, I would have given 4 stars because the food it that good.

With 3 employees behind the counter, I waited about 5 minutes before one even made eye contact. I was one of two customers in the entire place. Was told they couldn't make a hot sandwich even though one just came off the grill. Don't waste your time here.

Watch out for the two cashiers that work in the morning. Don't get too chatty with them or else they'll invade your personal life. They're a gossipy duo, those two.

If there's meatloaf, get the meatloaf. If there isn't, there's still plenty of good stuff to eat, but remember to come back and try again.
