The food at Somtum Der was really good. My favorite dish was the Larb Moo salad, which was flavorful and paired nicely with a side of white rice. I also had the Sa Poak Kai Tod Der, which was also good. I thought the chicken could have had more flavor on its own but it was great paired with the sauce it came with. Good thai restaurant with larger variety on the menu compared to other places. I enjoyed everything I ordered - fried chicken, nam tok nue, papaya salad, pad see ew. The friend chicken was perfectly friend, crispy, and crunchy. My favorite dish was the nam tok nue. The beef was tender with a good amount of spice.I really disliked the dessert I ordered, snow ice with salak. On my part, I didn’t know what salak was but I am not a fan. Legit thai food that doesn’t taste too sweet or too sour. You can’t get more real than this!Knocked a star off because the dishes were really small given the price but will definitely visit again.
