The menu combines both Indian and Chinese dishes. Nisar helped us choose the right combination of" spice-y" entrees that were just right for us.
I wound up being in New York because of work. We were across the street from Rice Symphony and we're craving Indian. The restaurant was the most accommodating during the covid pandemic. They did not even have an item on their menu, lemon rice, which they made specially for us. It was spot on, the most delicious. The front end staff the servers and the manager were one of the nicest people that we had run into while in our stay in New York. I will continue to patron their restaurant every time I go back to New York. 8 give a special shout out to Nisar, thank you souch!!! I will definitely be recommending you and the restaurant to everyone I know in the NYC area or those that visit. I can not praise you enough!
We visited Spice Symphony during a business trip to NYC. The food was original and very tasty. Service was fast and all the servers were prompt and courteous. We had the lamb and chicken special along with the Indian Mule drink (incredible). James (009) made the dining experience special. We will be back again next time we are here. A must do for those who love Indian food.
As Brits living in the US we really miss having a decent Indian curry. We visited Spice Symphony today for with our boys as a nice end to a day trip to NYC. The food and service was impeccable. My wife and I had recently visited their other restaurant on Lexington Ave so we knew we’d be in for a great meal. We were not disappointed this time either with the location on 150th street and if anything this location felt a little more ‘up market’. We had shrimp piri piri and tandoori wings for appetizers - with popadums and pickles of course! Our mains were fantastic - Lamb Rohan Josh, Goan Fish Curry (recommended by one of the staff who was from Goa) and Tellicherri Pepper Chicken. The naan breads were also fantastic - try the garlic naan! All in all a great meal and the best Indian food we’ve eaten in 8 years of living in the USA.
This restaurant is fantastic. Excellent service, shout out to James, outstanding meals that were freshly prepared and to specification (our daughter has a severe treenut allergy), and the vast selection of enteees are exactly what you are looking for when dining. we will definitely return.
The tandoori shrimp is the best! Always have a great meal here, the staff is so friendly, and the food is delicious!
We selected starters and entrees from the Indian-Chinese menu, which incorporates Indian spices with Chinese ingredients. Very tasty. Recommend the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. All dishes come with a pretty serious amount of heat, so be careful if you order extra spicy. My main issue is with the lighting, which is so low it’s cave-like. Turn up the lights, so we can see your food and our companions!
The interior of the place is really nice at night! Cool chill lighting, quite fancy, and friendly service. We had quite a lot of food and my favorite was definitely the starter Peri Peri Shrimp. It had a slight spice to it and it was really flavorful. I also had the Goan Fish Curry, which was decent, and the Garlic Naan bread, which was also really good. The chef gave us a complimentary samosa I think, either way that was reallly good. The others got the butter chicken that was pretty good, the lamb noodles, the chicken pops, and the chicken tikka masala. The food all together mixed into a 4.3 for me. Overall, I think this was a really nice chill dinner experience. This would be the place I go every once in a while.
Good food, authentic flavours, lots of menu options, prompt and friendly service. Would go back.
We ordered Panner chilly dry, fried rice and hakka noodles. Panner chilly appetizer was damm good it was so delicious I thought go and meet the chef and thank him.Food was really awesome and was ready on time, staff were good.
We just had he most fabulous dinner! Wow, the Sea Bass was flaky and the sauce was delicious. My husband had the Lamb Vindaloo and while it was a little spicier than he generally prefers, it, too, was delicious. The Spinach Chaat appetizer was very good and James our server answered all our questions and did not talk us into anything we were not sure of. We have already made reservations for our last night in town too. I highly recommend Spice Symphony for Indian cuisine in Manhattan.
Fabulous food and service with incredible spices a no flvors from start to finish!
Loved our meal at Spice Symphony! The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. All of our dishes were so good we couldn’t pick a favorite!
Off the charts! Like, crazy good on so many levels. A true merger of cuisines and both were reflected in all the dishes we had; tikka masala was delicious, and the Gobi Manchuria was our big favorite!!! Just go!
The food reminded us of authentic taste of India. The indo Chinese food we tried were the best I have had - gobhi manchurian and monchow soup were incredible
