Fantastic atmosphere, some of the best katsu curry I've ever had, and the service was super friendly. My only feedback would be to have more ambient music to match the vibe of the restaurant, rather than their current playlist.I will definitely be back!

One of my favorite restaurants in all of NYC. Have followed them from their previous two locations in the east village over to East 50th and it is better than ever. Hands down best chicken Katsu I have ever had.

I went to the sister restaurant in Urban Space called Katsu Katsu.Lovely Katsu and staff. Would get a 5/5 with reusable/compostable utensils etc. And more vegetarian options. The katsu and sushi was yummy

Very nice. We thank you for your effort, the wonderful platforms and the arrangement, and thank you to those working on it and to the agent

I really wanted to like this place I REALLY wanted to love this place, a female chef, Japanese curry … sounded super promising, right? The cucumber was too hard the tuna too cold and it was watery and bland. The udon very unexceptional and the chicken katsu? Overcooked and dry. What an incredible disappointment. The room is lovely and d the server polite but this place isn’t it. Japanese cafeteria quality at proper restaurant prices.

This place is delicious! It’s not particularly authentic to a curry spot in Japan, so if you’re looking for that, I’d look elsewhere. That being said, I love the way their curry tastes and their katsu was a fantastic texture. I tried chicken katsu this time – had pork at their previous spot in the East Village and that was great, too!Highly recommended – only docking a star for atmosphere because the smell of cleaning supplies upon opening was very strong!

I had the chance to try this very very delicious food, it was different yet with an authentic feel.Service was great and the atmosphere peaceful.I try many restaurants looking for new tastes and experiences, this was one of most pleasant meals in a while.100% would recommend.

CAUTION: This lacks authenticity! The food resembles Japanese fast food but at a high-end price. While the atmosphere may feel somewhat authentic, improvements are needed. I recommend Suki to seek guidance from an expert to develop a menu with more authentic Japanese dishes, including desserts, hiring a Japanese chef, and enhancing service (perhaps offering complimentary green tea!). I’ll reconsider visiting in three months if improvements are made and the establishment thrives.

the Katsu curry was good, but the restaurant smelled like bleach and there was a fly. Lighting was too dark for a group table, and the vibe was awkward. Very quiet. Mushroom in the salad was too salty.
