Absolutely delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Arrived and the place was packed, on a Tuesday! Looks like a simple diner, counter on one side and a lot of tables throughout.Hostess told me that someone was just getting up the bar so I could be sat in ~10 mins. She brought be to the back which was a seperate bar where I was encouraged to have a drink while I wait.I did.Had a delicious vodka martini and it made the time pass quickly.Sat at the bar and had the classic Superiority Burger (made Vegan), and one of their specials. A Cobb salad with a cabbage wedge base. Super creamy and tangy, it was delicious. It was also an incredible burger.Service was stellar, not pushy, fast. Will definitely be going back! ❤️Vegetarian options: Everything is veggie, most can be made veganDietary restrictions: Everything is veggie, most can be made vegan

Something nourishing for the body and the spirit. Superiority Burger is consistent across the board - service, quality, taste, unpretentious/comforting vibe. Special shout for the exceptional seasonal desserts, which are sometimes a trying exercise in nonattachment (me, still dreaming about the cardamom fudge gelato)

I'd heard a lot about how great this place was, went there for lunch and got the burger. It was expensive ($18) small, and very bland. Maybe they used to be better? Everything is very pricey and for me not at all worth it.

Pathetic portion sizes. Superiority Burger is the size of an Oreo. Doesn’t come with fries so you have to shell out $15+ for a side dish that is equally and disappointingly small. $10 for a house soda? Cmon. Pandering off fumes of old hype to hoodwink the churn of one and done customers. Who in their right mind would be a repeat customer at a place that charges $17 for a slice of pie? Would never recommend or come here again.

Sadly, I think Superiority Burger’s best days are behind them despite the growing hype. The portions have always been modest but it worked back in the day when they were a tiny counter service spot where you could get an excellent meal for around $20 and under 10 minutes. It’s hard to justify waiting 1-2 hours and paying $50 for that same meal.

Inferiority Burger is the apt name for this place. Tasteless food that is thankfully minimal in quantity. Inapt service - a hostess who's exaspareted by the fact that our group of three is planning to order from the main menu at 4.50 pm while knowing that the place doesn't begin to serve the full menu before 5 pm. "This is very confusing for us", she says and sighs dramatically. So did we after leaving $190 for a couple of miniscule but equally inedible dishes. As a bonus the restaurant did NOT offer toilet paper. Way to go GREEN.

among the worst focaccia sandwich I've ever had, for 22$. bad service, high prices, limited menu. i recognize the price buff vegetarian food gets, but this is insane

I finally went to their new spot and good lord the collard greens sandwich was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever had. The peanut butter pie was like eating peanut butter flavored clouds. And the universe launched one of the best out there, Colleen!, to guide us on this dining journey. The reviews really DO speak for themselves!!

Prices used to be fair and then suddenly skyrocketed. I figured the experience of a superiority burger at $18 (up from $7) must have an explanation. I have no explanation. The prices are inflated and the burger is fine. As a regular customer of its former location, I’m disappointed in the change.

BEST. VEGGIE. BURGERS. EVER.That was my original review. That was the original Superiority Burger. Yes - sometimes their side dishes were too salty or not perfect - but it was exciting to try anyways. Even though I was still hungry after spending $8-$10 for a burger - it was worth it, and I was willing to try out the $6 side to support the business. All of the magic of that place is gone for me - even the same rude hostess comes off as a snob, rather than a punk. This place was part of why alphabet city was still unique and cool, and it sold out….and broke my heart a little in the process.

The ambiance is great, good music selection, fine job at preserving the integrity of the storied Odessa diner, which was one of my favorites. Although the food was good, the portions are shockingly small, and the price incredibly steep for what you get. I never went to the old Superiority on 7th, so I had no reference as to what to expect. I had read their veggie burgers were very good. At any rate, food was good, especially their desserts. I don't know if their pricing is sort of a spin on the joint's punk attitude. Hm, if so, I'd rather go there and have coffee (excellent) and drink their seltzer (very special, generated by an imported Japanese machine), whilst aligning with punk stance and saying, "Food is death! Do not eat!"

I love this place but they are in process of destroying demand with 40-50% price hikes on burgers and sandwiches over the last 12 months. Just look at older menu photos to see how much they have raised prices and read recent reviews to see how people are not up for it. Does a restaurant ever cut pricing?

The food here is good and their superiority burger is quite delicious. I'd eat here again but mind you this is no replacement for a burger. It is definitely less heavy than a real burger and the flavors are quite well executed. I had to go to 7th Street Burger right after to confirm my thoughts. This is great as far as veggie burgers go. But if you're grading it on a scale of all burgers (meat or no meat), then I'd say it's good.
