Excellent omakase sushi all around. The ambiance is serene and simple and nice. Chefs are on top of their game and serve at a nice pace. Sushi quality was top notch and everything was very delicious. Definitely would go back! And $85 tasting menu was solid.

Sushi given is in very tiny slice and very thin. The rice is very loose falling apart. They don't want you eat too much from their $100 fat profits of 12 pieces. Fish are not very fresh. I saw other people's review had food poison diarrhea. Last but not least, they add 5% to card purchase. NYC has law this should be paid by merchant, not consumers. After I pointed out this, she still charged me anyway.

Came here to celebrate my birthday and it was such a nice experience. We had the 17 course omakase and the sushi fish was super fresh and well paired with interesting flavors. Our favorite was the one with tomato (that looked like bacon)! It was also super nice to talk to the chefs — they were great and recommended some other omakase spots around the globe. Thank you Jerry and Jeffrey!

What a special experience. We walked in at 8 on a Wednesday night and as luck would have it there were two seats available. The staff was so genuine and welcoming. The 12 course omakase was great: every course was delicious. And don’t sleep on the milk pudding dessert! Thank you, chefs.

Three people ordered 17 courses of omakase. The store was small, the cooking time took a long time, and the taste was somewhat disappointing and average for the price. Except for the fact that the ingredients are somewhat more luxurious, the taste is not much different from the susi from the whole food market... In terms of taste compared to cost-effectiveness, the susi from the whole food market seems to be better.

The best! We loved it. With so many omakase options, this one is a yes. You have 2 choices and we opted for the 17 piece. Definitely worth it.

Overall really decent omakase. The food is well-prepared and there are a range of different kinds of fish protein in the omakase other than salmon and tuna.My friend was having a birthday and the restaurant was really nice to prepare a mini surprise for him!Regarding the drinks, it was a pity that plum wine was not an option here. Instead we got yuzu shu, which was pretty good as well.

my fav hidden omakase place in NY. its a great deal for the amount of pieces you get. the chefs are sooo good, the service is amazing, but the taste of the food is beyond words. the creativity that goes in the each piece BUT also the quality of the fish is so amazing. i tried their brooklyn location too but this location is an exception.

I'm not too sure why this place has high reviews. We were the only diners at 5pm, which was kind of nice, but I do not feel like we got what we paid for. We were starving so we opted for the 17-course which came with 3 appetizers, nigiri, a handroll, and dessert. The quality of the fish was not the best I had in NYC (some were too fishy), and all the pieces of nigiri were not only pretty small, but also covered wayyy too many toppings to mask the underlying flavor of the fish. Some toppings did not complement the fish at all either. I wish they focused more on sourcing the freshest fish than having extra, over the top toppings. Some pieces I did enjoy though were: the salmon appetizer, salmon nigiri with seared tomato (pretty unique, never had a piece like this before), and the golden eye snapper. The dessert was also really delicious -- homemade tofu pudding! Tasted a bit like creme brulee but less sweet and a richer texture. Some pieces I was disappointed by was the toro handroll -- it was rather hard to eat; the nori used was not very fresh and neither was the minced tuna. The otoro was also just decorated in wayyy too many toppings.

I love trying out different omakase spots. This one had to be one of the best ones I've had thus far. The fish was fresh and the quality was top tier. The service and chef's were great. Would love to come back!

One of the best omakases I've had! My friend took me there and I absolutely loved it. The fish was very fresh and I think each dish had a great flavor profile. We loved the piece with smoked tomato on top the most! It was so special. The service was amazing and the dessert was also really yummy. I high recommend!
