There is one word that can describe this restaurant: tragedy. At the beginning, the waiter requires you to order side dishes and appetizers in addition to the main course. So what if you don't feel like it? You just have to and there is no discussion. The food was served quite quickly, which turned out to be the biggest tragedy. It looks bad and tastes even worse. I ordered ribs and received literally 3 cubes thickly covered with ketchup. Additionally, the set included chicken, it's hard to spoil it, but this time the bland sauce defeated me. I simply strongly recommend against eating here. At the end, the waiter spilled a glass of water on my partner and didn't even apologize. I highly recommend this place

LOVE LOVE LOVE the BBQ beef short ribs and the wings! I’ll definitely go again for these two dishes. It took some wait time for us to sit but it was SO worth it!

I didn't make a reservation so I had to wait for about 15 minutes. I chose the weekday lunch special and ordered fried chicken and side dishes of mashed potatoes and long beans. The fried chicken was a little salty and the long beans were overcooked. Fried chicken was slightly similar to the old-style grilled chicken eaten in Korea, but less crispy. Instead, the inside flesh was soft and good. Be aware that if you do not pay more than 18% of the tip on the bill, the waiter may ask you about the amount. I was a little embarrassed because it was my first time complaining about the tip amount in front of the customer. It's a place with history so you might want to give it a try, but I didn't think the food was particularly delicious.

My daughter and son took me to Sylvia's on 4/27/24 for my birthday. We drove up from Philly, my sister and son-in-law was there as well. Food/service was excellent. Atmosphere was good. Our waitress Ms. Olga was a true blessing, her attitude and her politeness, matter of fact it was Ms. Olga birthday as well. They sang to me, I really enjoyed myself. Today is Monday, I'm eating my leftover ? for lunch. I had seafood combination, yams, mac&cheese. I pray one day I can visit again. The weather was cold so we ate and drove back to Philly. Normally I don't eat at restaurants, this was an excellent day for my 67th birthday ???God bless you all????????

The food was ok. Mac&cheese is flavorless and cheeseless except for the top layer. Collard greens were flavorless. The fried chicken was ok but something about it was off. The peach margarita was weak with not a bit of margarita flavoring just thick peach syrup with a pinch of tequila I'm guessing.
