I ordered pickup and the food was great. I walked about 15 minutes back to my hotel and it was still hot and delicious. Great portions and flavor!

$22 pick n'mix dinner is such a good deal. You get to choose 2 from a whole lot of yummy options. We had the turmeric curry chicken and tamarind curry shrimp. Both were good. That plus an order of pork belly buns were enough to make two people very satisfied.

This is definitely not your typical Thai restaurant. They don't even have Pad Thai on the menu! They focus on countryside Thai cuisine, which I haven't had too much exposure to before. Food was amazing!

I really like Taladwat. I feel like it's one of the better Thai restaurants in New York. The vibes of the restaurant atmosphere and the food are all very homey. In fact, the tables all are picnic tables so you might share a table with people (but there are dividers in between). Their menu highlights all the other great dishes and meats in Thai cuisine! I love their Pick n' Mix option - come here with a couple friends and you can try so much of their menu for a pretty good price. In terms of their menu, I really liked the Pad Prik Khing Pork, any of the curries, 5 spice pork, kaffir chicken, and pork belly. Definitely check this place out if you want to explore a different side of Thai cuisine!

One of the top Thai restaurants in Manhattan. Picked up an order recently during coronavirus lockdowns. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot. Turmeric chicken, chili tofu, curry pumpkin, basil beef and veggie pad kee mao. everything was very flavorful and with a bit of heat, just as I like it.

Want to try authentic Thai cuisine? Go here! I've been to this place multiple times and they do not disappoint me. It is a tapas place where you order two dishes for $20. The ambience is vibrant with communal seating arrangements. Good place to hang out with friends.

The food is really good. It's a different environment than most restaurants. They don't have these single or double tables they have these long tables where you and several people can sit and eat. Great place to bring a few friends with and a very social place. The lighting and decor is beautiful and the food is authentic Thai. I came here with my girlfriend with my girlfriend and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely delicious take out. So thankful that this local favorite is able and willing to provide such great comfort food during these times, when it's really what so many of us need. The tumeric chicken curry warmed my heart. Highly recommend now for take out, and can't wait to go back in person when it's safe to go out again. Please support this restaurant if you can!

This is definitely not your typical Thai restaurant. They don't even have Pad Thai on the menu! They focus on countryside Thai cuisine, which I haven't had too much exposure to before. You get to choose two dishes to try for $22. There are a lot of dishes to choose from! My friends and I ordered a variety of meat focused dishes, and mostly everything was successful. We especially enjoyed the turmeric curry chicken with its moist dark meat chicken and savory curry based sauce. The least successful dish was probably the Pad Prik Khing Pork Belly. While the flavor was good, I wished that the pork belly was more crispy and not cut into such small pieces. Also, the ginger braised short rib was just a touch too salty for my tastes. The seating is communal at long picnic tables and you can expect to share a table with other people depending on your group size. Also, pickled veggies are served for free on the side and they really helped cut through the heavy and salty taste from some of the dishes. Be prepared for a potentially long wait during peak dining hours. We got here at 5:30 on a Saturday and was seated without any wait. By 6:30, there was a huge line.

Thai Country cooking! Delicious! Staff is super friendly, my waiter Pete was just lovely, food was amazing, we had the pick 2 and got the red rice. Not overpriced. I’m not a fan of Hell’s Kitchen area but for this restaurant and the food I will go back a thousand time! 100 % recommended!

Greatest Thai food I’ve had in the city in a while, however a bit pricey. When they mean spicy, they really do bring the heat! However the spice was personally very welcome and real ? they have great side pickles too on the table to help settle down the heat.

Decent Thai food, ginger chicken the stand out from the 4 dishes we ordered, the rest were average. I liked that spice levels and amendments to the menu were not negotiable. For the price, location and service it is good, if its the best Thai food you're after, it's not your first choice.

We came across this place by luck. We had a bad experience trying to eat at another restaurant nearby and we were waking when we saw this place.

I'm rarely in this neighborhood anymore, but I hope to go back to Taladwat next time I'm in HK. In a group, you can try plenty of dishes thanks to the two-dish lunch special. Everything was good here - not your standard greasy Thai takeout fare. Standouts were the larb, sauteed pea shoots, crab curry and the turmeric fish. It's not a good date spot due to the communal tables but great for groups.

Really amazing Thai restaurant. First of all it's market style with bench seating which is really fun. The dishes are meant to be ordered several at a time instead of entre style so you get to eat more traditionally with several dishes at once to share. The food was amazing and not your typical Americanized style Thai. Authentic and unique. The staff is really friendly and very helpful throughout your meal. The service is also very quick. I would definitely recommend going several times to try everything.
