First, the chefs let the fish speak for themselves- fresh, flavorful, inspired. Second, owner Eric and staff deliver personal attention- friendly, professional, elegance. Finally, atmosphere is intimate & friendly - whether you come alone, couple, or as a group, you’ll find friends and celebration - KANPAI!

Tatsuda is new in Manhattan ,has been open for 7 months, offering great value Omakade with 14 courses at $90 per person. The ingredients are very fresh, the ? are delicious, and tatsuda special ? has A5 Wagyu, Sea Scallop on O-Toro, and Hokkaido Sea Urchin~The rich and fragrant taste feels like flying to paradise with just one bite. The cocktail, golden yuzu, is not very sweet and is very refreshing. They also served sake, making it a very satisfying meal.Highly recommended‼️ ???

My absolute favorite restaurant in nyc. The quality and craftsmanship is beyond any other omakase place I’ve been to, and the service is amazing. Eric always takes such good care of us and I can’t recommend it more.

Great Omakase experience, came here for an anniversary and it was great. Team recognized our celebration, would definitely recommend coming on a special occasion like your birthday or anniversary. But food was incredible, and also filling. Left very satisfied. Wait staff was very friendly and so were the sushi chefs. Would definitely come back/recommend. Fish was definitely of a quality cut as well.

I went in December and I did not have a good experience with the food. The fish was too thick and I found too much wasabi in each hand roll that was overpowering. In other Omakase’s that I have been to, this hasn’t been a problem. The thick pieces of raw fish made my friend throw up and we didn’t want to embarrass the staff so we just said we’d pay and leave. They seemed concerned but did not offer any discount which was a bummer as we ended up paying $120 per person with tax and tip. While I appreciate their concern, I wouldn’t recommend the food per se.

The wait staff was friendly and nice and always made sure our cups were never empty. The chefs were extremely friendly and interactive with us and to be honest for what we got. Worth every penny.

I would rate 3.5 stars. Everything tasted of good quality. They didn't any of the specials except for ONE! Before starting service for the night or after each seating, the chefs should have checked which items to take off the specials list. It's like false advertising ? And it got me a little disappointed at the end of my meal ? The wagyu beef substitution wasn't that great either, should have replaced with a piece of otoro without any toppings would have been nice or ask me what I want instead?Wheelchair accessibility: None. Steep and slippery steps going up.
