Our atrocious encounter with Le Bain bouncers was almost as laughable as it was appalling. Not a shred of respect to your customers, even after we waited 30 minutes in the cold, even after we paid $95 to be there AND purchased our tickets ahead of time... I pity you both and your bizarre power trips. I hope you can fix your need to dominate and degrade people who are bringing you business!!!!!! I will never ever come back

RSVP'd for Nulu movement event on Saturday and was refused entry. The older, more wrinkly managing bouncer (for lack of better description) singled out my group as soon as we walked up holding plastic cups. He told us to throw away which we did. But then took his statement back and did not let us in. We said sorry, sometimes you are new to a city and do not know the liquor laws or sidewalk club etiquette, but once we corrected mistakes it was not enough. There was a line but it faltered after 15 minutes. Crowd seemed aged 30-50 and lots of French speakers. Old men were handing bouncers $20 bills to cut the line. After talking to the managing bouncer and telling him that the only reason we were staying in the Standard hotel was for the event and celebrating a birthday, he continued to refused entry, which is extremely unreasonable, rude, and definitely seemed like a power trip. The other bouncers were nicer about it but following the wrinkly guy's rule. It was very disappointing experience as we tried our hardest to follow rules and spent a lot of money to stay in this specific hotel, but the bouncers just do not care. Trop dommage! I would go somewhere else to avoid angry, stuck up staff who deter you from patronage at a club you otherwise would have really liked and given more of your business to in the future. Spent all night getting pretty to be potentially refused is not how you want to spend Saturday night. Thanks a lot, one star, lost all future business from group. Next!

The view is just phenomenal from here. Yes the drinks and everything is expensive but it's expected given the rooftop.

Ridiculously Good Time. Views and gays for days! Come for the drinks and a dance. Great people watching.

Extremely rude racist bouncers. They make you wait in line forever until you finally get in the club is completely EMPTY.

0 stars. Was a regular customer here until my wedding night. Waited for 45 minutes in the rain to get in when all of sudden we get to the entrance and they ask very rude and confrontational "do you have a reservation? No? Then BYE. nEXT."Don't waist your time here. They are discriminating. They made my wife cry too. If I could I would give them negative stars. Shame on Le Bain for treating customers like this. They should be reported to the police.

Was on a work trip in NY and came here almost everyday to unwind. Was lucky enough to catch a sunset here.

Loved it here at Le Bain. Rooftop was perfect - great views and spacious. Staff was kind. Delicious cocktails. I was really surprised seeing a swimming pool such a good vibe! Definitely looking forward to going back!

One of my favorite bars in nyc to go for some rooftop views! Great cocktails and music is also a great plus!

Great place, i def did feel old a bit but oh well! Staff was great, one dude at the door didn't wanna let a friend in, but we were such a big group that they made an exception (thank you white human at the door) Def ll come back, maybe i ll feel hip again. Bartenders were nice, and the view WAS AMAZING.

It's was very young! (For us that is. We're way beyond our twenties, but wanted to celebrate in a place with great music). But they still took great care of us (we did reserve an outdoor table which has a drink minimum). Shana, the hostess got us a great seat (asked us several times if we liked what we selected) and Alana, our waitress was best: super friendly and chatted with us. And of course the panoramic views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan, the Hudson River, the Statue and the NJ skyline are the best!

So, this place has fantastic views - downstairs, you can see the famous bathtub, and upstairs, it's all open and wide. The rooftop is an amazing spot to watch the sunset. They have a bunch of drinks and crepes to choose from. The crowd usually falls in the 30-50 age range (for the sunset). And the music is a mix of deep house, jazz, and blues - pretty chill vibes. We got there by 7 pm, and l can tell you, the vibes change a lot depending on when you go. When we were there for the sunset, it was pretty mellow, super calm and relaxed. So, we'd actually booked a table, but when we got there, turns out we could've just waltzed in - no need for reservations. Plus, getting in didn't cost a dime. I've hit up Le Bain a few times before, mostly when I was in the mood for a night club. I noticed that most of the folks there were gay; I saw much more guys than girls, mostly early 20s/30s crew, and I vibed more with the lower floor than the rooftop after dark. Some guys even jumped into the bathtub - towels were right there, part of the whole deal. But I have to say, the spot is awesome, whether you're looking for a late-night bash (they keep it going till 4 am) or aiming to catch an enchanting sunset.
