Nothing special here, I was disappointed by the lack of options and the huge number of pre-packaged goods for sale more like a deli than a high end bakery. I wouldn’t really call it a bakery. It’s more like a gourmet grocery with some limited coffee options. Definitely needs improvement!
The croissant was buttery and flaky. Opened six months ago, The Bakery at Greywind was on my list of new patisseries to visit. Located on the side of the Greywind restaurant at Tenth Avenue and 35th Street, it was difficult to find. Inside it is both modern and cozy. Cheez-it fans rejoice, there's a comically large version of the snack available in Midtown! I do believe this location is attached to the Greywind restaurant so if you see the Greywind, you're in the right place. Everything looks scrumptious and the cashier could not be friendlier as I purchased a giant Cheez-it and chocolate chip cookie to go. The Cheez-it is cheesy, delicate, salty and crunchy.
