From the moment we entered, we were taken aback by the atmosphere, and then our wonderful experience began. Each course was paired with a well chosen wine. My husband had the swordfish entree and I, the pork chop, both outstanding! Unfortunately, we had absolutely no room for dessert! If you want a wonderfully special dining experience , do not miss Temple Court,

I hosted a table of 8 people from out of town (Mississippi, Atlanta, Nashville, etc) right in between Christmas and new years, what a crazy week that is in NYC. The restaurant ran out of blue point oysters and they accommodated us by asking a sister restaurant to borrow a dozen for us. Everything was delicious.

Great place and one of my favs since the day it opened. And the staff is fantastic. But the menu needs rethinking. Surprisingly narrow choice of mains and nothing on the lighter end. The lobster main was so tiny it should have been a starter. And the squawb special. The meat was tender and juicy but the bundled accompaniments were less than pleasant surprises.

The Sunday Service was worth the trek. In the wind. And the rain. Everything was perfect. The octopus was well seasoned and delicious. The steak was cooked to my liking and went well with the creamed spinach and mushrooms. And the chocolate dessert was to die for. I was taken care of in that wonderful space. It was the right place to have this fantastic meal. I didn't get the chance to sit at the bar, but that area was also gorgeous. A must go.

A very impressive venue, Temple Court feels like a Scottish castle in winter- a huge dining room with charm and atmospheric lighting. The service was good, although nobody offered to take our coats, which was below the standard to be expected of a venue of this price-range. The food was unremarkable - not at all bad but quite forgettable. For a special occasion, it would feel rather ordinary, which is disappointing for such a grand setting. An enjoyable experience overall but not good enough to tempt us back. There is a lot of competition in this sector and the food would need to be really very good to be worthy of a return visit, which it was certainly not. A charming waiter made the evening and we were thankfully not rushed, as is sadly very common at all levels of dining in the USA.

Thanksgiving was the best restaurant dinner that I ever experienced. The quality of the food , particularly the deserts, was outstanding. I am a frequent business traveler and I have been to some of the best. Temple Court certainly stands out! It was a great idea to have Chef Travis explain how the turkey was prepared. Most thoughtful touch that made the day even more special in the family surroundings. I will be back!

Perfect combination of elevated atmosphere but was not pretentious, was a great place for good conversation with excellent food and very hospitable staff. A great experience and I'll definitely be coming back!

Service was above and beyond. Me wife and I were celebrating One Year anniversary and upon arrival we were gifting a Happy anniversary card hand signed by all the staff. Our waiter was more than accommodative, friendly and attentive. Food was A-1 and pricing was FAIR. Ambiance was fitting for an intimate setting. Place wasn't too far from my office; I can see myself going back soon

We had a fantastic dinner, everything from the surprise birthday card to the food and service was beyond our expectations. We cannot wait to return again to dine and enjoy drinks. Thank you again!

The food and services were outstanding. I expected to see part of the Beekman history, but I didn't experience it. My wife and I enjoyed our wedding anniversary dinner at Temple Court.

Food was amazing as well as the wine paring. But I would not recommend the deserts. Service was poor unfortunately. Great ambiance and decor. I recommend having a cocktail before at the Bar Room!

They run the air conditioning so cold that you can barely sit in the place. After two requests to turn it down nothing was done. My wife actually loves it cold normally but even she was uncomfortable.

Of course, I haven't eaten at all the leading spots, but I believe none equal let alone surpass TC. Collichio seems nearly alone in believing in RW's original purpose. This TC does in every measurable way. I switched my next from Vallata to TC and plan to eat here at least a couple more times of RW and return in the future. To begin, a very wide selection, in all courses. generosity prevails from the delicious amuse to dessert. Ingredients are tops, eg a Duroc pork chop that was exceptional. Plates are generously and imaginatively presented. Not the least of its many virtues is a discounted wine selection that is not only very reasonable but with fine wine. Congrats to all who made this a special evening. Others should look at what wonderful things are happening at TC and perhaps recall RW's original, sadly long gone purpose. Tom hasn't. compared with their meagre, predictable, prosaic and portion controlled stinginess.

Relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful historic setting at the Beekman Hotel. Striking decor, friendly, attentive service, and an inventive menu for a wonderful dining experience. Dishes were expertly prepared with interesting combinations of ingredients. Staff goes above and beyond to make the evening memorable.

We were somewhat disappointed on our second visit to Temple Court. The food was not as good as our first visit( my $79 steak was overcooked and on the cool side), and the service was okay. Likely won't be returning.
