Smells bad and crowded because its the size of a 1 car garage but they do like little girls there . Watch your kids when you go here !!! Those punk shows like to get free grabs on them !

Ordered two shots and it came out to almost $30 then they wanted a tip. The venue is super cool and cute I love the vibes and the older men who run the place are very sweet. It was easy for me and my partner to get in the person at the door was very helpful. You can get super close to the bands and even meet them during/after the show usually.

What a great small historic venue. If you have never been to the Bowery Electric you must visit them for a show. Check their website for upcoming shows.

Very kool venue. Listened to some up and coming bands on the circuit in a very quaint setting. Bar only. No food served so eat before you get there.Parking: Parking garages several blocks away on Bowery.

Showed up at 6:30 for a band we thought was playing at 6:30. Bouncer sold us tickets, and then 4 for friends. Only after the show started at 7 with a different band, did he tell us our band wasn't on until 10. Total total ripoff

Love these small clubs that seem endless in the Big Apple. 1st time here, as I continue to enjoy the upward career of my friend Hannah Ray Teal and her band. (Please check her out on Spotify!) That's her in the picture...and doing her thing in a small intimate room right off the bar. Typical of these venues is many acts, one after the other, on a given night. Some sound issues apparently, change in set times and general "non-structured" kinda vibe, which all goes with the territory...:)No worries, Hannah and her band adapt easily and were great, crowd was cool and enthusiastic, drinks flowing just fine..,:) Ran into some "old" friends, made some new ones (including a couple of the performers, which is really cool..:) and just a general great NYC type of night...perfect...:)PS...I didn't eat, so no review on food.

I got my wallet stolen here on New Year’s Eve during a ticketed only event. When I approached the management they completely brushed it off. Very odd and suspicious behavior. I asked several different members to speak to management and they were rude. Don’t come here.

Similarly to Olivia, my wallet was also lost at the same private party on New Year’s Eve. I’ve called several times and have not received a response.
