Perfect service and ambiance! Food was not good. Little flavor and tiny portions. It also wasn’t worth the price. I really wanted to like the place.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in NY. Staff is extremely nice, the restaurant is decorated really nice and is always playing great music, and the best thing is the food. Definitely try the Vegetable Biryani and the Butter Chicken Tikka Masala. They are both to die for.

First of all, Marisa is an amazing server and such a sweet person. I went there for an early dinner with a friend and she was so attentive, fun and personable. My friend loves the place and she recommended it but I personally give the food a 3 out of 5. It was still good and I cleaned my plate but not what I was expecting. The food has a British Indian influence and was lacking spice and flavor that I’m used to for traditional Indian food. This place is great if you or people you go with can’t handle too much spice or find Indian flavors normally too strong. The portions are a bit too small for my liking and the price. The service from Marisa was absolutely impeccable and worth asking for her when you come.

Bartenders and staff were so kind!!! They made me the BEST mocktail (which can be hard to find sometimes) and gave us free naan and curry bc my friend and I had a rough night absolutely made our day! Highly recommend :)

Amazing food! Especially with special delivery to our home. Family wanted more of everything and to know when we could order again as soon as finished! Thank you!

This is an unusual Indian restaurant, but the most important thing is that the food is excellent. It's loud and trendy, no Indian waitstaff or Indian beers! We enjoyed it, though, even though it was challenging to hear one another. We had the pork vindaloo, vegetable korma and a chicken dish. All were great, with a lovely presentation.

The best mango lassi ever! And the biryani (baked in a dish with a perfect crust) is pitch perfect. It's difficult to get reservations here but once you have one, you won't be disappointed!

Highly recommended. Small restaurant, cozy and great food. Been there three times already. (Updated Feb 2024) - ate there recently and 1) waitress left us waiting for sometime before being signaled to come to our table. 2) waitress didn’t even know the menu 3) the host and waitress pestered us throughout the latter part of our dinner almost wanting us to get the bill and leave. Yes there empty tables. Very disappointed with my latest experience there.

We’ve dined in twice and have ordered takeout a handful of times. My husband really likes the chicken tikka appetizer he has that for an entree with the garlic naan which is also very good. I love traditional Indian food and this definitely is not that but it’s not bad for an Americanized twist on it. The butter chicken is the one dish I find good however the rice always tastes like soap for some reason. My friend tried it recently and said the same thing.

Very nice restaurant and nice staff, but do not recommend for people with food allergies. Specifically for a dairy allergy in my case. Not the most accommodating with substitutions or figuring out what you can eat on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Limited options for dairy allergy and not accommodating for substitutions / figuring out what to order that doesn’t contain dairy
