Sadly very mid despite their attractive media presence...Paid for extra chicken and don't think the portion amounted to that. Cost friendliness and freshness is present, but that should be a prerequisite of any business. Inefficient delivery service too: took longer than expected due to the restaurant's end rather than the delivery person!

If you're a sandwich lover like I am, you're in for some solid sammies at this spot. High quality ingredients, healthy, and super satisfying meals. Their sides are really great, too. It's a tiny lunch place with a few tables and chairs but it looks like most people order to-go. Anywho, go get yourself a sandwich here. You won't be disappointed

Late food. Nasty owner. Ordered food to be delivered, after it being 30 min late I walked to the store and was greeted by a nasty owner who told me "it's only food". Will never order from here again because of his nastiness

I absolutely loved the Picnic Basket. I stumbled in here while visiting New York and I can't wait to visit again. I had a grilled Halloumi sandwich and the lentil soup they always have. The sandwich was fabulous but I could not stop talking about the soup! The staff was also very friendly and walked me through my order and recommended a special sauce I dipped my chips into. Love Picnic Basket!

They don't skimp on anything, super good sandos and sallys. I like the root salad and chicken sandwiches.

First time here and I love the experience. Im with my colleagues and we recieved a good service. I had salad, hot pressed and latte- it was good and fulfilling. My colleagues had courgette, roast beef, chicken pesto, crunchy tuna, bagels, and salad also. Prices were decent and instragamable.

Great lunch takeout option in the midtown area. Affordable, quality sandwiches. I'll order from here again. Delivery was fast and attentive.

I used to like coming here but I guess their food quality is down now. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was undercooked. The chicken was still hard and salty. This sucks because sandwiches here aren’t cheap.

Always loved this place and sure, it is one of a kind, but was disappointed a little today. I took a day off, especially to go there and order my favorite goat cheese sandwich . For years, I order it when have a chance. It's my favorite. When started to eat, I noticed that fig spread was missing and it gave absolutely different taste. If I would know ahead that they were out of it, I would order something different.

Last day in NYC and we stopped in before catching the train back to Ohio. All four of us had great food, but just as important was the great energy, smiles, and welcoming and friendly service. We got there before the lunch rush and ate in. The staff/owners interacted with everyone with kindness. They deserve all the stars!
