A friend recommended The Smith for breakfast so we made a reservation. Our table was ready with no wait. I ordered the avocado toast with an over-medium egg. It was delicious. The service couldn't have been better. Would go again.

We were a table of 5 , it was my nephews 18th birthday . We were a bit late due there was a barricade due to the presidential motorcade. They were so nice about it and still seated us. I went for lunch . I personally had the smith bar steak and side greens . I also had the tomato soup and Mac and cheese and hot fudge sundae . Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The waiter was nice and even took our picture when I asked . we had a nice time . I would go back here again. the place was cute

The Smith is just a fun place to meet up with old friends and new friends. The energy level is just right. Happy and boisterous but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation and the food is healthy and the drinks are great. Try the Bi Bim Bop - it’s awesome to find this dish outside of a Korean restaurant, and is one of my all time favorites at the Smith. I am a regular.

As I arrived in New York early in the morning, I looked for nearby restaurants before they all opened. Fortunately, I went to The Smith, a brunch cafe, as it was open before 10 o'clock. The price seemed a little expensive, but the food tasted very good. The atmosphere of the store was also good. Coffee refills. I like it
Outrageous! Placed the lunch delivery order at 12:07 on March 17. Called the restaurant one hour later and was told the food was not ready yet waiting on the fires. I told the reception to deliver without the fries. Shortly the delivery was on the way as you can see from their courier map. After another hour's waiting at 2pm, the map showed food delivered but there was no food. Spent another hour back and forth with the courier and restaurant finding out where the food was. The courier said the restaurant didn't give him the food but asked him to accept and mark it as picked up. Food not at the restaurant either...Thanks Smith for giving me a Sunday afternoon with a household of starving and cranky kids. Never again. They said they will refund but alas that never showed up either

The service was great and the food was great also. I had oysters, salmon tartare and the roasted salmon with savoy cabbage and crispy potatoes. My son had mac and cheese with broccoli and ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was a bit loud for me but the place was definitely buzzing with life. It was sort of like where fine dining meets bar vibes, which was pretty cool overall. You get the great food without the stuffiness and it was very casual. Great place to eat overall!

The food was great, large portion sizes and I felt that the price was justified for the food quality and taste. Michelle was an absolute sweetheart, so friendly and professional. It was a really busy Friday night and despite this she ensured everything was going well and even gave us some recommendations of places to visit. She’s a great employee and a credit to the business. A fabulous place and the waiter was great but one waiter for a section with 60+ people in it. We had to get up and go to reception to put an order through, same again for anything else. No acknowledgement that service was bare minimum. Waited ages for food (I was having yoghurt and berries). Disappointing visit.
