Love to come here with friends because the everyone is always so nice. The staff is so sweet and I love that it’s a mix of people and they have different themes depending on the night.

Horrible bar. Bartender in late 40s/early 50s. Super skinny. Tattoos. Not the kindest AND the security puts hands on females. Not cool. If I could give -100 stars. I would. I witnessed a woman get kicked out aggressively. I went in after and walked out after 5 min. So bad. I asked the girl if she was ok after getting aggressively thrown out and she informed me that her ex is a bartender there and had her thrown out for no reason. So sad. The girl was so sweet too. This kind of customer service is truly something else. I wouldn’t recommend.

As cool as it is to be in one of NYC's most historical gay bars the atmosphere isn't as great as one would expect. The drinks are just ok and the music is not great which is usually what you'd expect from a gay bar. Definitely come for the history and shows they put on if you're into that sort of thing.

OMG! I am an "Old School" New Yorker so I enjoyed following two friendly tourists... The bartender was indeed welcoming, but the drink, a vodka-grapefruit, was a whopping $11 at 2PM! Really? I then walked down the street to Tys to have the same for $6. Come on Stonewall, gauging the tourists is not very Gay friendly.

First time at Stonewall was this last December 2023, and it was a blast! The legendary bar was hosting their weekly drag show with Hibiscus, and we arrived just in time to see her.The drinks were great, and she was on fire as she charmed the crowd and ate it up on the dance floor! I got to ask her what her favoriteplant was (snakeplant). The atmosphere was 10/10, the music was 10/10, and Hibiscus a 10/10- 10’s across the board.I highly suggest visiting at least once to see Hibiscus, or any of the other performers and bartenders, DJ’s, regular patrons there. It’s an epicenter of queer culture, and continues to stand to be.I will definitely be back!Parking: Parking is already an olympic task for NYC.There is street parking, but most of the time is it cordoned off for construction, or taken.Paid lots nearby are your best bet, aside using apps like Spothero to locate cheap parking in the city.

We loved our afternoon spent with Christy! One of the highlights of our trip. Stop in and tell her Kelly and Meg said hi! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Terribly disappointing. They scammed us and don’t respond to mails! Quality control bad, got sick from the worst Cosmo. Was charged on my credit card twice for the same drinks. They don’t respond to mails. Really hoped for more from this iconic place. Check out the square, but get a drink somewhere else, your stomach and wallet will thank you. Please advise contact email as kurt@stonewall on your website doesn’t work

I was so excited to see the historic stonewall for the first time as a lesbian myself. I brought my mom to learn some history about my community and I wanted to buy a tshirt for my wife. I was practically berated by the female presenting bartender and it completely caught me off guard. She was very clearly upset to be there and it really really ruined the vibe. I want to cling to the good memory of seeing everything for the first time but I will have a hard time forgetting her terrible service and attitude.
