I ordered take out from here once before and it was pretty decent. Tonight was the opposite, truly awful. I had only the Scallion Oil Noodles. The oil it was cooked in had turned and tasted rancid. The tiger prawns (4) were so overcooked that they were hard to bite into. The shitake mushrooms were good! Maybe they were added afterwards? Maybe it was just a bad night?

Decent place. Our waiter was very attentive and wonderful. The food was just okay. We ordered from the vegetarian selection and at the bottom of the cabbage bowl were bits of shredded beef. We’re not strict, but that was strange. The vegetable fried rice was just okay. The add on noddles was plain we asked for soy sauce and use the duck sauce from our spring rolls to give it some flavor. I left full, but the food didn’t really wow either of us.But again, the service was great!

Came here for the braised beef noodle because I've heard good things about it.I was somewhat disappointed by the soup. The meat was very tender, except for the edge pieces which were quite chewy. Noodles are on the thinner side. They had one server on a Friday night, so the service was somewhat slow.Overall, my experience here was very average.

mediocre and below expectation, the noodles and the dishes are not authentic(e.g. braised beef noodle soup, it is bad), but have a feeling of canteen food (which is the opposite of a cozy meal). The owner does not give a very kindly vibe either. There are many better options close by.

Very over priced I paid about $15 for 2 whole wings and they weren’t cooked all the way through. And $20 on a soup that taste very bland with no flavor I wasted $40 plus Will not recommend!!

I got the chicken noodle soup and it was unbelievably bland. Disgusting!

We love the Tang. It's a slightly more upscale Chinese place that has a slightly more focused menu than the traditional Chinese restaurant. Our favorites are their spicy diced chicken and drunken noodle soup. I took my family here after their flight came in from SF since its close to my place, and they quickly became obsessed with it and insist on coming back every time they're in town. We dine in and get take out regularly.

Such a welcoming place! Dan Dan noodles hit the spot on a cold day. The staff was super friendly, and sweet. Although I did take out, the restaurant looks incredible! Although the noodles are not advertised as spicy, I would’ve loved a kick.

After wanting to come here for a while, my boyfriend and I finally did it and we ended up quite underwhelmed. The atmosphere wasn’t very cozy for dinner as it was dark in the center of the restaurant but at the edges the lights directly above our heads were incredibly bright, which made it for awkward lighting. Anyway, the food. The broth was decent, but the noodles were. So. Soft. Usually there is a springiness to noodles that make it good against the texture of the soft meat, but it was all mushy. The meat though was incredibly good and very tender. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that they offered an oxtail noodle dish. Not sure if it was an off night but be sure to ask to not have your noodles overdone, texturally wise it brought the entire dish down and we could not enjoy it. Did like the fried turnip cakes though.

My fiancée and I were very excited to try this place because of the great reviews and we both like noodles. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. We got the braised beef noodle soup and the drunk noodles and both were so bland with no flavor. We also got the garlic pork dumplings but that was even worse. The ambiance and service were great but we definitely wouldn’t come back.

The chicken quality was terrible. It was only the fatty inedible parts of the chicken which made it very gross and chewy I had to throw it away.

Visited this cute and cozy Chinese noodle restaurant at the UWS. They have a modern and cool vibe. They have an open kitchen concept so if you sit by the counter you can see the chef's cook your food. The main dish that people recommended was the braise beef noodles and it was pretty good. The beef was tender and there was a lot of flavor. Even though it mentioned that it's spicy I find it moderate even though I can't eat spicy food.My friend got the oxtail beef noodle soup. This is good if you want something light because the flavor is definitely not as strong as the beef noodles. Some dishes we got to share was the fried tiger prawns with salted egg yolk, braised beef lucky bag and the pan fried turnip cake. They were all so delicious and portion size was great. If I have to recommend a few dishes I would definitely go for the fried tiger prawns with salted egg yolks. The prawns were so fresh and huge. The braised beef lucky bags. It's so tasty. A lot of flavors in every bite and the braised beef noodle soup.

I never throw away food, but this messed up my stomach so bad it’s still hurting after 3 days. I’ll spare the details but be ready to spend the next couple of days in the bathroom. Terrible experience, ordered through uber eats, went straight to the trash.Ordered wings, herbal chicken noodle soup, and pork dumplings.

I stumbled by this place one night for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The service is great and the staff are very friendly. The portion sizes are rather large so expect to have left overs or eat family style. The eggplant was average, it was good but I wouldn't order it again. However, I really enjoyed the noodles that I got, it was a very clean and flavorful broth. Definitely recommend trying their noodles.
