I live in New Jersey and I had to make a stop on 14th street yesterday 3/21/24 and when I was walking I came across Tio Pio ? then I went to the place I ad to go after I finished I stopped at Tio Pio and grab some food before heading back on the train to Jersey, the food at Tio Pio is amazing and fresh I definitely will be back??the staff there was very nice to me and very welcoming??And fyi you get your money worth cause it came out meal for twoAnd their beef empanadas with dipping sauce is amazinggg ?

One of the best pernil dishes I ever had. It was cooked to perfection. The skin was nice and crispy. Pernil is a slow roasted pork shoulder, butt, or leg. I got it with vegetables and a little salad which were really good too. I have to come back and try the roasted chicken and salmon dish too.

The staff here is so incredibly amazing! It's always wonderful to walk into an establishment where the individuals are so respectful and make it feel as if you're not just another "customer" but, instead, that you're a valued member of the local community. Decent restaurat but food is overpriced for the taste. Service can be better. They looked annoyed when ask them a question. Only bad thing is they have one of the worst chicken empanadas I’ve ever had.Charge you $30 for chicken and rice with 2 sides and a drink. Not worth it.
