This breakfast was such a highlight of our trip to NYC. There’s a line out the door but it moves really fast, they take your order whilst you’re in line, and as you’ll see from my videos they have a very efficient production line to churn out the orders.Deliciously soft and freshly made bagels, I got mine filled with smoked salmon with tomato, capers and cream cheese (flavoured with dill/herbs/cucumber). Every element was so flavourful and high quality ingredients.There’s absolutely nowhere to sit so we walked nearby over to Tompkins Square to eat in the park.There’s so many things to try in NYC but if I return I’d definitely eat at this bagel place again ?Highly highly highly recommend

Tompkins Square Bagels offers fantastic bagels with generous portions of schmear. Expect lines during peak hours, but the wait is well worth it for these delicious and satisfying bagels.
I checked out Tompkin’s bagels this morning, thinking I had not been there. Ben, I remember coming here in 2021 and remembered how amazing the bagels were.Today I had a plain bagel, not toasted, with lox and cream cheese. They put dill in the cream cheese, and also put capers and t d onions on this particular type of bagel that I ordered. It had a really good balance of flavors.It has a great atmosphere and plenty of space to enjoy whatever you order. They have a large variety of things to choose from. Check out the pics of cream cheese.New York bagels are definitely better than any I’ve ever had. Tompkin’s bagels are certainly at the top. If you’re in Gramercy Park area, check them out.
They know what they’re doing with bagels and the whole ordering process. Very efficient. Loved the multigrain oat with plain cream cheese. A simple star.

My favorite bagel store in the area. Sometimes I pick up from here on the way to work when i want to treat myself instead of going to the deli. Very convenient location near the L train. The "Murray the cop" is the best.
