Tiny cozy place for ramen. Had full ramen bar and maybe 4-5 tables. They serve asahi on tap and offer chu-hi. Ramen broth was mostly chicken based but had a high content of garlicky and salt flavor. You can choose thin or wavy noodles. I would say save yourself from gyoza. I found them crispy but lacking flavor and juiciness when you take that first bite. Over all satisfying and around 20 bucks a bowl.

Small setting, amazing flavor! Service is friendly. The gyoza with its sauce was a great appetizer. The Ramen here is one of the best I’ve had in a while. All cooking happens in front of you. Two larger tables (4 person) and 1 small (2 person) in the back, the rest of seating is on the chef’s bar where you can watch the magic happen. Loved the ambiance. Our kids (8 and 9) really liked the Toribro Paitan ramen with pork and seasoned egg.

TORIBRO Ramen, maintaining its excellent food quality from its days as a Totto franchise, is a place I make a point to visit whenever I'm in NYC. To dodge the long queues, I've learned to either get there as they open or visit later in the evening. Their Deluxe Mega Ramen is a dish I can't miss on any trip to the city. The paitan style soup is my absolute favorite here. It's thick, rich, and brimming with flavor, especially with the garlic paste and perfectly torched chashu. For an extra layer of taste, adding the spicy paste on a cold day makes it even better.A significant convenience is their transition from being cash-only (back in the Totto days) to accepting credit cards. I remember one winter night, staring helplessly at an ATM outside because I'd forgotten to bring cash and couldn't recall my PIN. So, this change at TORIBRO Ramen is a welcome relief, adding to the ease and enjoyment of the dining experience. All in all, TORIBRO Ramen remains a top contender in NYC's ramen scene, offering both traditional and adventurous flavors in a more customer-friendly setup. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or just exploring, it's a must-visit for a memorable and hassle-free experience.

This IS the best place to get ramen in the area - don’t go anywhere else. A true “hidden gem”. The ramen tastes amazing and it smells incredible in the restaurant! The broth is so delectable.

Incredible. The miso truffle was divine even though it was all vegetables. The onigiri was a wonderful appetizer, the sake was smooth, and the sparkling cocktails they serve are a delight. Music was up beat but subdued in volume and the vibe of the restaurant was amazingly authentic. Would definitely come back.10/10

A cozy ramen place with a handful of tables. The miso ramen we had was tasty and the noodles were just right, but overall very limited vegetarian options. Service was friendly and pretty quick. This place has a restroom for customers.Vegetarian options: Only one ramen noodle dish that did not have meat.

I can proudly say after years of trying different ramen from all the way out east on longisland to basically everywhere in Manhattan this is hands down one of the best bowls I've ever had. Everything is perfection the egg the cook of the noodles the meat quality the broth. It may look like an outdated hole in the wall but don't let thar scare you off this is japanese authentic ramen at its best.

Food 6/10The broth seemed to be from chicken stock, and it unfortunately lacked complexity. A little basic and heavy too. The ramen itself had a decent chew, but the thickness was thicker than what I prefer. The gyozas were very solid though.Atmosphere 5/10Quite a cramped space. It’s a very hole in the wall narrow hallway, but I’m glad they had hangers to put your coats because there were only backless tools.Service 7/10Solid service, nothing much to say about it.
