The food is amazing here. The service is really good as well. We sat by the bar, and I would usually be opposed to this. However, you get the perk of getting a free dish from the chefs. You also can talk to the chefs. They are really friendly

Excellent tapas served in an industrial chic space. Despite the size of the place, our table felt jammed into a section of the restaurant next to the kitchen counter. Many large parties throughout the rest of the space made me think that this place is ideal for a birthday celebration or group meal. Scaffolding on the building made the entrance difficult to find at first.

Food was out of this world amazing, but our server seemed annoyed that we wouldn't order alcohol and basically blew us off the entire visit. Another waiter ended up refilling our drinks, bringing our food, and another cleared the table. Would have given the review 5 stars overall if it were not for her horrid attitude.

Amazing experience at Toro! We had reservations for 5:45 at the chef's counter. After arriving a little early (kitchen opens at 5:30) we grabbed drinks at the bar and the hostess sat us at a table fifteen minutes earlier than what we reserved!! If you like Moscow mules, definitely order the Baby Stormi! Everything on the menu was absolutely delicious and everything came out in a timely fashion. Some of our favorites: the Iberian ham (reminded us of our trip to Barcelona), the tuna tartare (wow — those crispy shallots really made the dish!), and the garlic shrimp (do yourself a favor and order it TWICE). The ambiance has a cozy but industrial feel to it, perfect for date night or grabbing dinner with friends and family. Staff is extremely friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Cool place, but the paella was terrible :-/ I was looking forward to the paella so much and it was a huge disappointment. Everything else was pretty good, very cool restaurant, good service, great drinks, good music, speak easy in the back is nice.

This was our third visit to Toro. As on our other dining experiences here, the food was delicious, the service attentive without being obtrusive, and the ambience inviting. We will go back, and recommend the restaurant to friends.

The restaurant entrance is hard to find. It's actually not on 10th ave. Small minor detail but it's kinda annoying. Food not cheap but it's great. Decent size. Service was good. Restaurant is huge and not so busy when we got there. Sangria is delicious and we ordered so many from the menu like around 9-10 dishes. The octopus is a must along with the paella and Foie gras

Toro was great. Went on recommendation from a friend. Great room in the heart of meatpacking district, yards away from Chelsea market. Small plates, great choices. Drinks were excellent as well.

Celebrating the Christmas holiday season with our son, Ross, at my number one favorite NYC restaurant... awesome! The chef(s) at Toro are so amazingly talented and creative. The three of us ordered nine or ten small plates (tapas), of which every one was more spectacular than the next!!! Service was spot on, too! My husband and I cannot wait to come back to NYC to visit our son, and most certainly dine at Toro. Your restaurant is absolutely worth repeating EVERY time we are in New York. Thank you! And Merry Christmas!

Was a rushed experience - which ruined the evening. We were brought our check, but wanted to order more. Our group was celebrating, but none of us will be back. Try Little Spain for great service, tapas, and sangrias.

Everything we tried was great. if you like seared foie gras, hurry, it is delicious At the end of the meal we were brought glasses of white cherry - a very nice touch and perfect ending to the evening. Highly recommended and it is very close the start of High Line Park.

Toro was awesome! Our server was so friendly and gave us great recommendations. The food was very good, each dish that came out was better and better. As the evening went on they played music that was fun and added to the environment. Lots of options for vegetarians!

The food is always very tasty and inventive and their wine list has a a good choice of Spanish and South American wines. Portions are generous! So order as you go. I celebrated my birthday at their 'kitchen table' in the back and their event planner was super helpful and service was perfect. It does get noisy later in the evening so it's hard to have an intimate conversation.
