Came for dinner at the restaurant(not Hawker), Wednesday night and got food poisoning the next day from the Sisig.----------The chicken Inasal was great and something special, I thought the Sisig was good with balancing various flavors and textures but that was until it gave me food poisoning.I could not wait to devour the food with each bite, I was actually very excited to try filipino food and it was delightfully tasty! My filipino friends I talked to earlier recommended the two dishes.Unfortunately at 7 AM I was given a delightful surprise, I'll spare you the details. I haven't had food poisoning in years and as a foodie that is all I could hope for. This last day was miserable.I know it was the Sisig because I had all the same foods my friend did over the last two days except this dish, we share a similar tolerance and constitution yet this after dinner they were fine. The service is okay, they weren't very good with questions or giving details and didn't seem to be really listening thus all my questions became orders.Overall, the Sisig seems like a gamble, the flavors and food were good but maybe avoid anything with eggs and pork.

This cozy little place has the biggest flavors in the city. I've been here several times and had delicious meals on both occasions. The first one was a completely new experience for me: eat with your hands Filipino style. The food was terrific, and the staff helped everyone feel at home. The second was a typical sit-down dinner and also did not disappoint.Check them out if you're looking for authentic Filipino flavors, friendly staff, and good vibes. Thanks, Henry!! xoxo :)

This is one of the best if not the best Filipino restaurant in NYC that I have visited.Excellent.... excellent!Yummy.... yummy.Ordered Kare Kare and crispy pasta.Kare Kare:Just the sauce alone would have sealed the deal for me.But they used beef short ribs!Wow.Soft, tender and absolutely heavenly.Paired with shrimp paste and this Kare Kare is the tops.Note: This is not the tradition Kare Kare using oxtail and beef tripe.Having said that, I don't miss the oxtail and the beef tripe at all.Fully welcome the beef short ribs with open arms.Crispy Pasta:Simple.Yummy!!!Crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Then l the accompanying sauce. Not your run of the mill sauce. There is a twist to the sauce that is unique that pairs so well with the Crispy Pata. Bravo.Notes:- The atmosphere is very nice, cozy and warm. However it is a smallish place.Best to eat there during the off hours to increase the chances of being seated without a wait.- The service is great. Courteous, attentive.- I ordered brown rice and sad to say it was dry. Prefer more moist.- Limited choice for dessert. In a nut shell...This is a must try place.Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back to try their other offerings.

My friends and I had a Boodle Fight or Filipino Kamayan Feast at Tradisyon. Henry and his team provided excellent customer service. It's not easy to accommodate 18 guests but they made it work. We had a a great time. The dinner was private and everyone enjoyed the delicious food. We were so full and even had leftovers to take home. Highly recommended, please inquire if you are interested in having this type of event. Even if you are not having a Kamayan Feast, I would recommend. I went back another night, the Chicken Adobo is delicious.

I ordered the seafood pancit for take out. Nothing like the picture, no squid and the shrimp was not fresh… used to like this restaurant…

So sad to be disappointed at my favorite filipino spot. This used to be a spot that I , as a filipino, would go to have a good quick eat. However, after today I will no longer be supporting. I never write google reviews, but after the service I had today, I had to, as I was overwhelmingly upset. I waited 20 minutes for my lechon kawalli after being told it would take five more minutes after our sisig was brought to the table. I remained patient as the minutes past, but after 10 minutes I started to become impatient as the person I was with also patiently waited for my dish to start theirs ( respectfullly). They did not check up on us within those 20 minutes except the one time WE asked for an update ( about 15 minutes in) where our impatience was met with " we're just trying to get the lechon extra crispy". After realizing my partner was waiting for my dish as well, the waiter made a comment about how their food was going to get cold as they waited (side eye). There was no effort to make sure we were okay throughout the whole experience where all we wanted was an explanation for why it was taking so long . Food was delicious, but after the inconsideration and passive agressiveness, I will not be coming back.

Reserved for a Kamayan dinner for my birthday. My friends and I really enjoyed it, food was great. Only downside, they didn’t deliver what they promised and there’s no restroom. Not about the chicken lumpia, but about the cake. I was promised a cake, (which I would have paid) and they said they were gonna take care of it and it was gonna be on the house but once we got there they told us there was no cake when early in the morning on the day of reservation I double checked and verify if everything was confirmed and they said yes. I wish they informed me prior so I could have managed to order it from somewhere else since we were celebrating a birthday and we ended up not having one.
