NYC is full of turnover, luckily Trinity is still here. We love an old standby.

It’s become the new Cheers. Lee, Richie, and the crew are good people. Good for a chill spot any day of the week. A lot of friendly, local regulars. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring food with you or have it delivered.

Hands down the best pint of Guinness I’ve had outside of Ireland. Perfect pour every time with a local, inviting dive feel. The bartenders (depending on the night: Lee, Richie, Natalie) are all awesome and friendly and the music is always great! If you’re looking for your new neighborhood spot or just passing by, you’ll come in as a stranger as a never as a friend.Highly recommend!

As others said, Dive Bar. In the best sense of the word. Local place and feel. I can have a Guinness in peace. Bartender was attentive and got me my Guinness right away. Made sure he took his time to fill it, as it should be. First time here. Visiting a daughter. Will be back. Don’t know which bartender is John, but thank you for keeping tightasses out like MH that posted 5 months ago.

Any time I need a drink I go straight to trinity. The service is amazing, all the bartenders are great. I love the people that I have met in there. Don't have anything negative to say.

Travelled to NYC to visit a very good friend of mine and stopped by Trinity Bar. Had a couple of beers to catch up with my pal and was extremely impressed by the atmosphere and helpfulness of the bar staff. John was a friendly and approachable bartender and made sure me and my friend were well looked after in his bar. As a tourist in this great city, I'd highly recommend this bar to anyone visiting New York!

Trinity Pub is a place I strongly discourage anyone from visiting, especially for a special occasion. My girlfriend's birthday celebration turned into an absolute disappointment, largely due to the abysmal attitude of John, the bartender. His behavior was nothing short of incredibly rude, condescending, and downright unpleasant to interact with. Despite our best efforts to be nice and respectful, he exuded an arrogant demeanor, making it clear that he had no interest in accommodating us or making us feel welcome in his own establishment. It was disheartening to experience such disdain from someone who is supposed to provide hospitality. To make matters worse, when we requested the check, it didn't include an itemized copy, a basic expectation in any respectable establishment. When I kindly asked for one, John's unprofessionalism reached new heights. He not only refused to provide the itemized bill but also repeatedly demanded that I sign the bill in front of him before addressing the issue. His behavior was completely uncalled for and demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism. It is truly disconcerting that someone with such contemptuous behavior is employed in a hospitality role.Frankly speaking, John's conduct goes beyond unprofessionalism – it reflects a pathetic and deplorable individual. The fact that Trinity Pub allows someone like him to represent their establishment raises serious doubts about their commitment to customer satisfaction. I wouldn't even recommend this place to the rats of NYC; they deserve better treatment than what we received. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting Trinity Pub. The appalling treatment we endured from John, the bartender, along with his complete lack of professionalism, makes this establishment a prime example of what a hospitality venue should never be. Spare yourself the disappointment and find a place where you'll be treated with respect and courtesy, as every customer deserves.

All I have to say about this pub is that it feels like home! It is people like John - who happens to be a stellar bartender, extremely professional ensuring at all times patrons are safe - who makes me feel like I can hang out here with no worries in the world. His sense of humour is priceless! Hospitality is such a brutal industry; but it becomes way more challenging when customers are impatient or don’t understanding what entails running a business of this nature. It is unfortunate to read some people’s complaints about one of the most professional bartenders and hosts I have ever encountered. Kudos to Trinity’s owner for hiring such caring, knowledgeable and professional people to run the business. No wonder why this pub - a neighborhood gem- has been here for years and years even during hard times like Covid-era. Love Trinity! Thank you for always treating us like family and with the utmost respect. Slainte!

I love Trinity Pub and John is an awesome bartender- welcoming, friendly, and sharp wit. Couldn't ask for better. I do remember an obnoxious customer from a couple days back who I'm pretty sure was under the influence of something that was far from a Guinness. John doesn't suffer fools well and nor do the customers. 5 stars!
