Service was quick, and the waiter was very polite and pleasant. The cooking was even better, they had the best chicken parm that I have ever had. The sauce was phenomenal and the garlic bread was top tier. I totally recommend this place if you ever find yourself in Little Italy, NYC. Well mannered place.

Whenever we go to Little Italy in New York, we always have a problem deciding where to eat because there are so many restaurants. The last time we chose Umberto’s Clam House. The linguini with clam sauce was very good and the portion served was huge. My wife had the pizza which was also great. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. We had a really good dining experience and will return.

Hi Umbertos! I want you to know what the owner next to you said. Someone ate at LA Nonnas restaurant (next door) and gave them a bad review. The owner of that restaurant( next door) actually put it on you! They blamed you for their bad review. It had nothing to do with you, but he blamed you! TOTALLY DISGUSTING. It's totally unacceptable. PLEASE SEE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS THAT THE OWNER AT LA NONNA BLAMES YOU FOR WHEN IT IS NOT YOU, BUT IT IS LA NONNA THAT IS THE PROBLEM. SHAME ON LA NONNA!

Good price, I recommend lasagna and pizza margherita, average food, small atmosphere, little to see.

I loved the place, the pizza we tried was very delicious, the only price was a bit high for a personal pizza but if you are not very hungry you can eat one between 3 people, the staff was very friendly but they approached us to go to the restaurant, we were a little uncomfortable but the place was not bad, and the order was not delayed

Thank you for the great service and hospitality. The linguine and meatballs are exceptional. Highly recommend this establishment.
We went to Umbertos Clam House in Little Italy this Monday, and we ordered some clams. They were okay, I recommend to come during their lunch menu hours because it’s cheaper. The restaurant was a vibe, and our waitress as well✨

I liked the food, but I feel like I was scammed by the waitress. She asked us if we wanted any appetizers, and we didn't want any. Then, she asked if we wanted bread or garlic bread, and based on the way she asked the question, it sounded like it was free. We asked for the garlic bread, but she ended up charging us $8 for it. It seems pretty clear that we didn't want to order any appetizers, but the waitress purposely mislead us with the garlic bread.

Great service and food. Nice quiet location. Linguine and clams and the carbonara were both excellent. Seafood linguine and meatballs were also really good. Great place for old school really good Italian without being pretentious. It's got good mob history too if you're into that.

The place is small and cozy, the food is delicious ❣️❣️❣️ now the best Tiramisu I have eaten in NY is in this restaurant. Our waitress Dulce was very efficient. A site that I recommend. Now we went on a Saturday after lunch time, so the place wasn't so full.
Absolute classic.
