Amazing shrimp toast. Seriously the best in town. Lovely owner as well, so kind and welcoming. Cool talk show downstairs.

I was a week in new york and stumbled across this restaurant. The food was great and affordable. The portion size was more than enough. Would definitely recommend if you are in chinatown!

I came to this place because the ad on the window caught my eye. At 1pm they were sold out of EVERYTHING that we wanted. I ordered Sake and they brought it in a wine glass- I asked for sauce and they were also sold out of that. The shrimp rolls that we got tasted like an old pan. I do not recommend this place!!!

The food was really average and there was no service. The wait after ordering was too long.

Came here over the summer from Toronto. Best Chinese food in NYC, the dumplings and lobster congee was amazing, and the owners were so sweet. If I come back to NYC, I will definitely pay them another visit.

We were seated promptly just to be ignored. Servers walked past us without acknowledgement. We had already decided what we wanted to order but received no assistance, even after flagging staff down. So we left without being served. There wasn't much of a crowd and I can see why.

It seemed nice and we were placed by the rather depressing upstairs area.Once we ordered lots of food, we had to wait for 30+ minutes for ONE of our dishes, and every 10 minutes only one of our orders was given and we ordered around a dozen plates since we like to eat. An hour and a half later only half of the stuff we ordered came. This is the first time I had considered to leave early since we refused to wait any longer for our meal and so we asked for a check and we left. The food we ordered was pretty good, but not worth the wait.

Sigh - hate having to write a bad review but my experience here didn't even meet the minimum for me. - sat me in cold basement - food came out 1.5 hours after ordering (I didn't want to leave bc they kept telling me it would come soon but it didn't) - food was wrong order, cold, and missing a dish. - rushed to pay upstairs right after finishing my meal - inattentive wait staff Super disappointed :(

After 1.5 hours of placing our order, we followed up on the rest of our food since we were missing & waiting on 4 dishes. The waiter went back to check and had the audacity to tell us after 1.5 hours of waiting that they were sold out of 3/4 remaining dishes: the string beans, the duck, and the XLB soup dumplings. We decided to give them a second chance and asked for the lobster since our main protein, the duck, was out. Turns out the lobster was also out. We settled our check and ended up going to another resto after since we were hungry. The service on top of the food was horrible. We went up to the bartender inquiring about the alcohol we ordered because they did not bring it out. Something is systemically wrong with this place. The “Vybes” are off.
