It was a great experience but a little overpriced. Wonder why we pay a tip based on the sales tax included. The eggs benedict, priced at $19 and $4.50 for coffee was excessive. Thank you

Great to revisit this neighborhood gem after so many years (I went twice in the last couple of weeks). It was as good as I remembered when it was this tiny little place on Amsterdam Avenue around 80th Street back in the day. But, because of their new format (different menus for afternoon and evening / Good Enough to Eat and Tellios) , I was a little disappointed that they took "The Day After Thanksgiving" dish off the menu. Bring it back. It's a winner! I did have two great brunches and it did not disappoint. I will return.

The overall experience was nice, food was great, we were looking for a quiet spot where we could talk, and it was nice in that respect. It was a cute comfortable place. The only downside was the wait staff were sullen and seemed offended to be there working. I will give them a pass since it was the day after Christmas- and well you know...

GEtoE has been a to favorite for decades. So many dear memories and wonderful meals have been shared here. My brunch favorite has been eggs with corned beef hash. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat them this visit. In past, corned beef was in nice chunks, fresh & moist. Instead, it appeared ugly, dried out, tasted old as did potatoes. So sad to think the quality of their food has come to this. Hopefully, it is a one off, as this place has significant sentimental history. Desserts still looked homemade, delicious and fresh.

Perfect for lunch. Beautiful sandwich and better pancakes. Will come back for sure! A shame that we missed the Greek cousine, inly in the evenings.

Great food (we had the waffles with the amazing butter and French toast), good value, fast service, no hidden credit card fees (however their Apple Pay doesn’t work with Mastercard)

Years ago, this was a special place. One of my favorites. A little piece of Vermont on the UWS. These days, it is more of a basic Greek diner -- albeit with New York City prices. There was nothing wrong with our meal. It was fine. About the same as what I would expect at a New Jersey diner. But unlike most NJ diners, the service was pretty bad. There are a lot of really places for brunch on the UWS. This one would no longer be on my list. Too bad.

Amazing atmosphere. Really friendly staff and great food. We had brunch, and would go back again. There maybe a small queue outside but it moves quickly, don’t be put off.

We grabbed brunch here before visiting The Museum of Natural History and are so glad we did. The food was delicious (we ate the bacon waffles and cinnamon french toast) and service was quick with big portions. Staff were friendly and accommodating as it was a very rainy day and we had our toddler asleep in the stroller with us. Would recommend if you are looking for brunch in the area.

Worth the money. Learned a lot of information about the mining world of tombstone. Much more info then the carriage ride.

We had a great experience today at the mine, it was a lot of fun and informational. Our tour guide Cheryl made the experience great, by getting to know everyone and cracking jokes to make everyone laugh. She was super knowledgeable on the mine and the other mines around, also recommending everyone to visit the other mines! We will definitely be back!

Several decades ago, when the place was on Amsterdam Ave., my wife and I would drive in on a cold winter Saturday night to dine on their fine comfort food. I fondly recall their very fine meat loaf. When we moved to the UWS, we tried it again after many years and felt it had gone significantly downhill. Tonight, it had been well over 5 years, and we figured we'd give it another shot. Sadly, the food was completely uninspired. The two different salads we ordered were plain and way too underdressed. I could barely taste what was described as "blood orange balsamic dressing" on mine. The sloppy service was omnipresent: Our entrees came before our salad plates had been cleared. My fried chicken, while sizable, had no seasoning whatsoever. The white rice required salt to give it any taste. Our prix fixe meal came with dessert. "What would you like," asked our waiter, as if we were mind readers. Good Enough to Eat is in a section of Columbus Ave. with at least 5 restaurants on each block. It's hard to imagine how any of its competition could be as mediocre as this place. Never again.

This place was just OK. The setting is cute in a trendy spot of upper northwest, but everything about the food was forgettable. Couldn’t wait to try the biscuits with strawberry butter because it’s talked about so much in reviews. Pretty disappointing. The homemade biscuits were fresh out of the oven, but dry and flavorless. The strawberry butter saves them, but they would not stand up on their own. My hash and eggs dish was also lacking something —— oh yeah — it was flavor. Not seasoned with much of note. My husband had a more traditional bacon and egg breakfast and he was less than enthused about it. Good enough to eat is a pretty good description. Not good enough to make me come back.

It was a very busy Saturday midday. However, we were very friendly welcomed and after a while sitted at a nice inside table. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and the overall experience very pleasant. We definitively recommend this place to anymone willing to encounter a real american breakfast experience.

My two other seasoned friends and I stopped here for breakfast. From the start, the staff were some of the nicest we've encountered in our weeklong visit to NYC although I don't know how we noticed this because we couldn't get our eyes off of the huge and delicious pastries on display at the front door. I was too full from my meal to take a piece of cake or pie home with me - big mistake. After being seated relatively quickly for a Saturday morning (10 minutes), we had migas, blueberry pancakes, and the country breakfast. My migas were fantastic!! I ate here yesterday and just returned home and am trying to duplicate their recipe so I can have it every weekend for the next twenty years. My friend to the left had the blueberry pancakes with strawberry butter. She watched her weight on our trip but not during our visit here. She slathered on the strawberry butter and poured on a bit of syrup and ate with her eyes close and a smile on her face for most of our meal. My Southern friend to my right was disappointed in her biscuit and it ruined the meal for her but hey, even NYC needs to respect the magical taste of a Southern biscuit that only they can make. The rest of my Texas friend's meal was good but she couldn't get past that darn biscuit so she didn't elaborate further on her meal. She and I also shared a plate of home fries and for the second time during our visit, they were soft and mushy. Us two Midwestern and Southern girls at the table like our fries crunchy so we didn't finish them since they weren't "good enough to eat". But despite that, we had a fabulous meal and I will be recommending this little gem to all of my friends headed to NYC.
