My best friend and sis rave about W'burg pizza, so I decided to check things out on my Easter weekend trip. I opted for Too Good Too Go, because why not? I got there at 10:20 and the woman behind the counter told me that they had nothing. Cool. It happens. She asked me if I wanted garlic knots. I declined and asked her just cancel the order. She told me that she would put something together for me. She started putting together a box when this guy walked in. She quickly forgot about me and decided to work on his order instead. Then someone else walked in. She took their order as well, while I was still standin, curious about how things were going to work out. She made a box, took a container of marinara sauce and with her gross, used glove, she reached under the counter and put something in the box. She should have just cancelled or refunded me the $4. I guess I looked unremarkable and unlikely to complain or leave a bad review. The garlic knots were, as I suspected, stale and nasty. I cannot comment on their pizza, but between her attitude and these stale, nasty garlic knots, I am done. And on top of that I let my sis and friend know how awful they were and I will continue to spread the word. It would've been easier to just cancel the blinking order.

I don't think I'll ever consider getting my slices elsewhere than here! Their dough is crisp in the right places and toppings are generous and tasty. I usually go for their Tartufo and Grandma slices.

Best slice joint in the area

I rate for food unless the other criteria are a serious problem. That being said, this place has the best pizza in the area. The 14 pizza varieties INCLUDING VEGAN/ VEGGIE SLICES are great ranging from their regular cheese slices which are large and have a crispy and chewy crust with a nice bite. The regular pepperoni slices are just as good with a pretty spicy version of pepperoni. They have so many types I can’t remember them all. The square slices are smaller in comparison, but they’re also delicious. The prices are almost right but a tad high like $3.50 to $4.50 per slice. They do whole pies. Plenty of drinks. I don’t think there’s a soda fountain. Day staff isn’t particularly friendly but not unfriendly. Night staff is more friendly. There’s about 7 tables inside and 3 outside. There is a counter to eat at also but if you stand there it’s crowded and blocks the trash cans. Ovens are hot and slices come out quickly. They have one set of condiment shakers that they ask not be taken to tables. One napkin dispenser at the counter. Not too loud music plays. Medium bright lights. Tables aren’t usually wiped down frequently but it’s usually just a bit of oregano and crumbs. No bathrooms. Lively corner spot with moderate foot traffic, but delivery bikes cut across everywhere in the outside pedestrian plaza. There’s a cool dive bar, The Emma Peel Room, diagonally across the plaza that does t mind if you bring pizza.Vegetarian options: You know, like pizza without meat. They have several. Grandmas are my fave.Vegan slices are squares only and have one veggie slice with Mozzarella, Marinated Artichokes, Basil, Roasted Red Peppers, Red Onions, Spinach, Garlic & Tomato Sauce, and a vegan pepperoni. They will make a Gluten Free Pie but I don’t think they have slices of that available.

Mediocre pizza, very American. Garlic knots on the other hand are very good and cheap ($3.50 if I'm not mistaken)

The word that comes to mind is 'reliable'. If you need a pepperoni fix, these guys can help you.

I'm from CT and kind of snob when it comes to pie.Got a few slices from here last night with a couple of beers. It was so good, we stopped back 2 hours later and grabbed an entire Bianco for the hotel room and we housed that throughout the night.Great stuff ?
