Wo Hop Reviews
Food is authentic. The waiters can be a bit abrasive. The portion of food is humongous! Prices are $12-$15 per plate. Very tiny place, and it's super warm down there. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't suggest this place! Lol!
There are so many good places in NYC Chinatown, but Wo Hop is a classic that one must visit. It's got old school charm, a bit of a sketch vibe, and is a James Beard Award Winner. What to eat? Order many things as they are all good. Not expensive and like all of Chinatown, cash only.

Not sure if we were just hungry as our lunch was not till 3pm or everything was really delicious ?. This place was recommended by an ex-NYPD friend who claims it’s the best Chinese restaurant in NYC and a landmark.Had to wait in line for about 10 minutes but it was well worth it. Very tasty Chinese dishes and good portion for the price. Note that it’s a no-frill restaurant with no ambience.Only accepts Cash but there’s an ATM machine in the restaurant.
