It was good. Not great. Food was tasty but not exceptional. Service was just ok and that was the most disappointing part of the experience. When you get to this price point, I expect to have lovely service pacing out our meal and checking on us throughout the time while we are there. Our server and noticing other servers in the room felt bothered and annoyed and didn't bring their AGame to and ‘A' restaurant. I've had some really great experiences at French bistros around this city and this steakhouse didn't live up to that experience.

My wife and I returned last night to close out our trip to NYC as we always do and also to celebrate our 26th Anniversary this week. We had a truly phenomenal experience. We spent three hours enjoying the food and conversation. Both Managers on duty, Connor and Roger, were incredibly hospitable. The serving staff, to include Amador, Francesca, and Gabriel, was exceptional. My wife and I shared an Iceberg Wedge salad, a 24 ounce NY Strip, a lobster tail, and macaroni and cheese. We finished with raspberry and mango sorbet. We love Wollensky's Grill and look forward to our next trip to NYC.

My wife and I are back in the Big Apple and that means daily visits to Wollensky's Grill, our favorite restaurant on the planet. We have been there for lunch both Thursday and Friday thus far. Fantastic both days. Gabrielle was outstanding as a server both days and the manager, Ryan, runs a super efficient operation. Everyone has so much fun. The drinks have been great as usual (Tim and Shamus are the best). We have had the shrimp cocktail, the wedge salad (possibly the best tasting item), the split pea soup, and the Wollensky's Prime Burger. All were amazing. If you only go one place in Manny, this is the one! We will be back for dinner on Sunday, our traditional end to every trip to NYC!

Went here to treat my best friend for lunch @ The Grill, and had a terrible experience. Have been going to S&W for years, and never had a negative experience. The waitress was completely miserable, making the entire lunch terrible. She was rude and down right fresh. We are easy customers, ordered a couple of drinks, an appetizer, and 2 burgers, very simple. The waitress never came over to take our inital drink order, and barely was seen the entire time. When she was at the table, she was rude and miserable and in a big rush. I understand people have bad days, but we literally are easy going customers and people, and were expecting a delicious lunch like we have had every time here in the past.A total shame, will never be back. Amazing how 1 person can ruin a special lunch.

Always great to have a great steak dinner, before traveling to Asia where there's less steak. Get the porterhouse for two or the prime rib and ALWAYS get the cream of spinach and hash browns. If you have enough room in your colon get the coconut cake with a side of vanilla ice cream and a couple of espressos!

This is a great place for a more casual meal with steakhouse offerings. You can order other cuts beyond the main menu. My brother and I had the porterhouse for two. Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail were perfect and the hash browns and creamed spinach were on point. Denny provided excellent service and the manager checked in to make sure all needs were met. In the past, I've had the prime rib which is also excellent. See you next time!
