If you are looking for hand crafted noodles in Chinatown Manhattan, I would suggest you to give Xi'an a try. We order Spicy & Sour Pork & Cabbage Dumplings and Pork Zha Jiang Hamd Ripped noodles. It is the sauce that makes the dumplings outstanding. The spice is pungent. The hand ripped noodles were a little chewy, but still tastes decent. The kiosk machine was not functioning well and it took a little longer for assistance. Otherwise I would give a Five Star!
I'd heard about this place for years, from Anthony Bourdain to their countless spots on various YouTube channels, so this was on my radar the moment I came to NYC. I got their signature dish - the spicy cumin lamb hand pulled noodles in sauce, and my brother got the pork hand pulled noodles in soup. I took mine with regular spice, he took his mild. Good place in Chinatown. The food is good, lots of seating, and they serve the food very quickly as well. I think this place is good for a quick bite, so if you're in the area I would recommend stopping by. The lamb cumin noodles are good!
