Great service! Great flavor! Amazing experience for someone who loves K-dramas like me!

Best Korean BBq (get the marinated short rib), best fried chicken (get the salt & pepper option! It beats all others), best mushroom bibimbap, best side lettuce for the bbq wrap (yes, it’s an add-on but worth it!).

Super friendly and accommodating service.Fantastic Korean dishes not just bbq meats. The Korean beef tartare is so fresh with the Korean pear. The uni mentaiko rice is a must. The scallion pancake is fabulous too. The makku original carafe was a pretty large size and so good. For the meats, the marinated galbi is really good. But I wish they had a charcoal grill since that usually tastes way better. All in all, I’d totally keep coming back.

Flavorful, fresh cuts of meat with nice side dishes. Yukhoe and scallion pancake were good. Get the potato noodles at the end! Comparable to Cote but a much easier reservation. Banchan they offer is okay. Good value for the quality.
Updated 2024: Came back for the third time, KBBQ quality has frankly decreased substantially.Lack of complimentary egg or ssam is less acceptable now given the growing number of KBBQ options, and higher end options like Cote / NUBIANI have better complimentary side dishes.—Delicious KBBQ — a bit surprising that there isn’t ssamjang among the side dishes.Docking a star here for service, especially with an included gratuity for large parties. We had to ask each time for side dishes to be replenished, which seemed a bit unreasonable after the first or second time.

Best Korean bbq in the area. The quality of the meat is consistently phenomenal and better yet, the service is the best in the city. They are attentive, polite, efficient and friendly. I’ve been going here since they opened over the years, and I always look forward to my visits. I highly recommend this place of high quality meat, side dishes, and stews.

The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were nice. The only problem was that I mentioned my partner was allergic to onions and the waiter first asked if they were actually allergic or just didn’t like them, then said “it’s a Korean place, so…” I think a better response would have been to advise if any marinades used onions and either take the onions out of the side dishes that have them or don’t serve those specific dishes

Overpriced and low quality. $27 for tteokbokki. Might be better for non Koreans.
