Food is good, the chicken tenders are very tiny for their price.

Best slice shop on the UES. Grandma has a doughy crust with thick fresh mozz and garlicky sauce. Perfect. Round pies have a nice crust with just the right amount of crunch. Slightly expensive but worth it. Clean shop too.

York Ave Pizza does not disappoint. Their classic plain and GMA slices are the perfect amount of cheese, sauce and crunch. Also a must try are all their fun twists. My personal favs are the drunkside down and pepperoni Detroit. The service is always quick and staff friendly. Highly recommend!!!

The man in front is friendly. The Pizza, except for the spicy pepperoni is tasteless. The men who work there are pushy and obnoxious. They aren’t busy but they rush you and talk and giggle. I felt so uncomfortable, I wanted to walk out. I’ve heard of enjoying your job, but not at the expense of the customer. Speaking of expense, the food is overpriced for the quality.

Worst pizza ever.My bad cause I could see the slices sitting around and the dried up cheese looking dingy.

Delicious and affordable pizza! Service was quick and mostly healthcare workers and construction workers from the neighborhood. Plenty of tables for seating. We tried the upside down sicilian pizza* (favorite), drunkside down sicilian, detroit lil' cesar slice (SAUSAGE, GREEN PEPPER & MUSHROOM), and the CPR (crispy Chicken, Pepperoni, and buttermilk Ranch) (second favorite)** .

No customer service. The guy at the register racially profiled my coworkers and I. Not very welcoming energy! Very unprofessional But People in the kitchen were very friendly per usual.. We left*editedNow that I’ve read their response this further proves my point on their customer service. We do work for a non profit organization for children with autism . Unfortunately for us when working we do not have restrooms because we work outside. We normally politely ask facilities if we can use their restrooms etc. If they say no , we go somewhere else no big deal. Unfortunately this was not the case in this situation and I’ve personally never been in this facility before this. We intended to buy food so the assumptions in this response are incorrect. But furthermore we are human beings it does not matter what we do for a living, we still take breaks. We never came in to the facility to just sit we in fact intended to rest and eat pizza after working so hard because it was actually our lunch time. Working in customer service if cashier had asked that he would have known. But instead he bombarded my colleagues with aggressive questions before we could put our things down which is why we left to a different restaurant to eat. As we know it’s not what we say it’s how we say it. So unfortunately for you , you were very wrong and if we didn’t look the way we did would we have gotten the same response ? The answer to that would be NO ! The issue is the not “race card” it’s micro aggression. This review has no intention of coming for your small business. Maybe it can be enlightening. So if anything like this happens again there can be a different approach because it was wrong. You should be ashamed of how you approached people walking in to your facility.

I saw a group walking out talking about the horrible service and then I experienced it myself. Front cashier was rude and asked me what I needed 3 times before I could even grab a seat but he didn’t ask anyone in doing the same as me … about what they were doing. If you’re black I wouldn’t visit. They need a diversity workshop
