Omg Yelp revival?? Came here with a group of 5 after Spicy Moon rejected us and it was truly one of the best meals I've eaten this year in NYC :,) Service was so welcoming and the ambiance perfect as well (not too loud like the majority of other restaurants cough cough spicy moon cough cough and super pretty plates and bowls and nice jazz playing in the background) (jk we love spicy moon! they are rightfully busy) I know this review is off brand so will flesh this out with more words later ^^

Sat down at 5:45 pm on a Fri night. Decor/ambiance are very nice. Food came out super quick. My friend ordered the wonton soup, I ordered the beef noodle soup, and we shared an order of shrimp dumplings. The beef noodle soup looked like was a super large portion (due to bowl size, but it was mostly liquid) and looked tasty, but it was disappointing and unfortunately one of the worst beef noodle soups I've ever had. The soup was too oily to drink much of (it was mostly chili oil, which upsets my stomach), the beef was tough (I had to request a knife & fork to cut them into chewable pieces as I hate wasting food), and the tendons were way too tough to chew through so I had to spit all those pieces out (equates to roughly half the meat portion in the soup...I just said I hate to waste food). I'd be willing to come back to try dim sum one day and maybe some other dishes, but definitely never the beef noodle soup.

Got the fried pork skins, soup dumplings, pork buns, and bok choy. Pork buns were okay but the rest of the food was delish. Cherreen was excellent and the drinks were great. We got the tea and biscuits and farewell my concubine. Overall a great little spot!! Decor is elegant and music is tasteful!

Best New Chinese restaurant in New York this year, very convenient near New York University, and the manager was very friendly.

The food is nice, but not a good place to meet with friends. If you really want to taste the food, then come by yourself and bring your noise canceling headphones.1. The service is terrible, couldn’t believe but the waitress/owner suddenly popped up and poured water into our cups and since she wasn’t looking at the table, the water was actually poured into our dish and she didn’t even notice!2.The environment is not bad if you don’t care about privacy, ignore the loud noise and flashes of cameras. A lady even came with a professional camera walking around the restaurant filming every table. Not sure what happened but for me this is really annoying and uncomfortable.

Food was fantastic, restaurant was lively but the service was understaffed when we went on a Saturday night. I'm sure they'll get it sorted. Great for dinner.
