I love this place! Portions are GENEROUS (once a "pint" of lo mein gave me one dinner and two breakfasts) and the service is wonderful - fast and kind. Food has a more complex flavor than most casual Chinese food joints, which I really enjoy.

Yummy indeed! Super cheap and all of the American Chinese classics available for takeout only. I like that they have a healthy menu too where you can order stuff that is steamed with sauce to the side. $7 for a satisfying, healthy meal ain’t bad!

Yummy City Chinese Restaurant offers delightful BBQ spare ribs with perfectly cooked white rice complemented by a flavorful BBQ sauce. The shrimp and broccoli with white rice are equally impressive. Not only is the food delicious, but it's also budget-friendly. The staff's friendliness enhances the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for a tasty and affordable meal.

Cheap, good, consistent food. Owner is friendly. Call your order in advance to avoid waiting. I always get the general Tso's chicken.

I eat here at least once a week and it’s always amazing! He somehow always knows what I ordered and even when I call to place the order he remembers specific requests. Truly the best Chinese takeout in the area!

Really quick takeout order and the food was awesome! The general tso’s was easily some of the best I’ve ever had! Also the prices I think I were very reasonable for NYC. Just be warned this place is cash only which caught me by surprise, but highly recommend and definitely will be back!

I'm Chinese and generally don't like American Chinese food but this place actually makes pretty good food. The flavor although is 90% or 95% Chinese and familiar it has a slightly distinct tailored taste for Americans. The man in front is very nice. I've seen disrespectful customers and he still keeps being really nice.

A local American Chinese food spot that is take out only. The decor is pretty plain. The guy running the front is always really nice and quick with service. Portion sizes are good for a place that runs under $10 for an entree, and you get a choice of fries vs. rice vs. fried rice. Since I was feeling a little sick recently, also decided to get the soup--which was actually much better than I thought it would be. It was a good amount of eggs in some nice light chicken broth, just salty enough to hit the spot. I think it depends on the day you go, but today the quality of the food was pretty good. The chicken had a nice bite and flavor to it, and the fried rice, which can be hit-or-miss, is usually made in bulk at the beginning of the day, kept in the rice cooker, and heated in the wok per order.
