Zinc Bar still has the old 1930s speakeasy vibe. Low ceilings, good acoustics and musty dark reddish velvet close booth seating. It's first-come first-served confusion upon entry. Tonight was just okay, and we frequent many jazzy spots. The staff however, clueless and not very attentive upon our astute observation. We will stick with Smoke, Blue Note, Dizzys Lincoln Center and Jazz Forum for now. Guess Zinc survives on reputation at least. Three stars. Thank you

Went to a show last week. Venue was unorganized and dirty. The seats were spread so far apart, couldn't even enjoy the music because of the awkward seating. The drinks took so long to be delivered and were filled with pulp, and disgusting, we didn't even drink them. With cocktails at $20 and up should at least be strained. Waste of time and money.

We ordered a cheese plate, the presentation was terrible, it seemed like everything had fallen on the plate. Very messy, really a total lack of effort. They were two cheeses (in mini pieces) of quite low quality.The girl was nice.The furniture, old and uncomfortable.

I had the great fortune to go to this club on my last trip to New York. I found it to have the kindest door men and staff. Then I was seated in the audience for the show, I noticed that there wasn't an empty seat. This venue is the coolest venue I have ever experienced. You are going to love the Ambiance. Enjoy yourself.

Have been to Zinc a few times and it has always been a great experience! From catching a deink wirh a friend after work, to sitting on an amazing show, the atmosphere is always chill and classy. The non alcoholic mojitos were delicious, and the chips are also great for sitting at the bar. Reasonable cover cost for a really outstanding show (30 dol)! Will definetly be coming again.

The smell of espresso intrigued us to go into Zinc Bar! Best espresso martini in NYC! The one we ordered at the bar was especially good!! Made from an old school espresso machine from the 1920's. We ordered one to the table in the back room and it wasn't as tasty as the one at the bar but was still good! We were sad to find out there's no live music on Saturdays which was the day we went but they do have it Sundays-Fridays. We would love to come back one day to experience the music!

Love the performance. Drink server seemed overwhelmed, maybe she should start getting drink orders before the show starts! Also, the cocktails are so nice, why not make the couple food offerings a little more thoughtful too?Thanks guys, overall great performance.
This place is such a hidden gem. Had a lovely time here enjoying classic jazz and trying their many delicious drinks. The staff are so warm, welcoming, and FUN! The people who attend are kind patrons who enhance the ambiance of the bar. I had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

Well, Jazz music evening doesnt get better than Zinc bar...just a few minutes away by foot from washington square, the bar has amazing drinks and food. The Whiskey sour is something I encourage everyone to try...the whole bar has a chilling vibe...
