“Amazing jerk chicken, rice and beans. Quick and friendly service. I felt like I stepped into Jamaica. Can't wait to try more food on their menu. I had to carry my dog inside instead of leaving her in the car and she was in heaven with all the delicious aromas. The guy helping me was welcoming with her, too. Very cool spot. Very authentic.“
“Came here for a first time and really loved it.I enjoyed my Lengua en Salsa, if was so freaking good. My boyfriend had a Bandeja Paisa, and he loved it as well. The beans, rice, plantains, steak, and chicharrón was perfectly cooked. We also had 2 beef empanadas, super flavorful. We will definitely come back. The food is so authentic and it's always what we look for to enjoy.Next time, I will bring some friends over.“
“As a new resident to the area, I was worried if I’d find the equivalent or better Jamaican food as the Bronx. I was pleasantly surprised as both visits to GK were met with wonderful customer service by the female serving and the male cashing. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the names but I’ll be back. Excellent portions and flavor. I always feel I got my monies worth. Keep up the good work.“
“We go to Firebox multiple times per week. We are "Foodies" and have high standards for what we put in our bodies.Firebox is consistently delicious. It is cooked fresh at ALL hours (they cook small batches throughout the day, so you're always just in time for a hot plate). Our bodies feel good after eating here. They cook real food with real ingredients, and you can tell based on how you feel after. Their food gives me both strength and happiness. We will continue eating here and bring all of our friends & family here.Pro tip: buy a bottle of Pepper to bring home with you (Pepper picture attached)“
