My fiance and I stopped here for lunch after our sons doctors appointment for the first time… my fiance got fajitas chicken, beef & pork… they were just meat and cheese rolled up into a soft shell …I got nachos and the cheese was basically oiled cheese…The ground beef reminded me of school taco meat…He ordered the soft shell taco with out the beans on top and they still gave us beans on top ..I’ve never been disappointed in any food before until today :( …

Every time I go I like to get a meat pie but I like them fresh out of the fryer but every time I go they pull them out of a warming tray.. I tell them I don't like it this way but they insist they are fresh when I know it's been sitting there for maybe an hour or so.. make them make fresh ones..

Disappointed. I’ve been coming to Taco Tico for many years. I have not been for about 2 years however I decided today to stop in and get my Normal hard shell tacos.Barely any meat. Lacking everything. This is the first time I’ve noticed a difference but I did see recent reviews and others did say the same. Hopefully, they read the reviews and serve with love the way they used to.

Sad....they used to be so much better. No meat, last two visits.

We had a really good time laughing at all the bad reviews for this place after we visited … the entitlement of people blows my mind. The two of us left so happy and so full for under $20. Super cute divey and colorful atmosphere. The counter service and patrons were all friendly. Wasn’t sure if it was Mexican or Puerto Rican like some of the reviewers mentioned as there were nods to both, but the important part to me was that it was delicious. The tostones were perfectly flavored and crispy, the chicken and pernil melted in my mouth, and the homemade sauces at the table were yummy and appreciated. Glad we made the random pit stop on the way up the mountains!

Food was sloppy , isn't the same as it was years ago, tacos barely have meat. Seems they don't take pride

This is not Puerto Rican food! Tacos and burritos are from Mexico. They are not Mexican either. They are Honduran and Dominican and are posing as Puerto Rican food which is very disturbing!!! Real Puerto ??Rican food is delicious and full of flavor!! They need to take the Flags down!!! They are misrepresenting the Puerto Rican community!!!

If you are looking for a 5 Star restaurant to take your high class clients to, this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for authentic food that you can take with you, then this is the place. Seating is limited to just a few booth type tables, but this place has been a staple for as long as I can remember. Get the pernil with rice and beans. You won't be disappointed. (I took the pic after I started eating. The presentation was much nicer. ?)
