Went for dinner and had the pot roast sandwich. It was delicious. Lots of meat, and very tender. Prices are about average. Would definitely come again

My wife and I visited the Brookside tonight. We both ordered the broiled fish. The food was NOT served hot. My wife's fish was under cooked and she sent it back for a reheat in the microwave. My fish was Luke warm at best, ( not hot), but I was so hungry I just ate it. My French fry's were not hot . The rolls on our plate were hard (not soft) and seemed like they just came out of a freezer. I did see a beer battered fish go by that looked good, but we did not want the grease. I would not want to have to wait in line for that kind of food. It just doesn't seem worth it. Maybe there's not much to pick from in that area, but that food we had would get a 6 out of 10. We won't be rushing back any time soon for that fish fry.

It was a little bit more expensive than I thought it might be but the parmesan crusted fish was excellent. The server was very good.(UPDATE-2.23.24- I was very disappointed with the parmesan crusted Fish Fry that I had before. It wasn't anywhere near as good. I think they skimped on the parmesan and it wasn't very crusty. The service was mediocre had to wait a long time for a coffee refill. They charge $18 for a broiled Fish Fry and if you want anything extra , it costs more, five dollars for a salad that definitely wasn't a five dollar salad. And on top of that, they brought the salad out with the Fish Fry instead of a head a time. So you had all this food setting in front of you! What a difference from the first time I came. I'm not sure I will come back.Parking: A lot of parking space and now I understand why.

It’s a cozy and welcoming place and definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.One thing I discovered is that the area the Airbnb was in did not have many food options around it so finding The Brookside was a wonderful sight to see!
