Good food in a nice location- nice view of the river. I don’t give it 5 stars because I like when the restaurant offers something for ‘free”:or complimentary- just as a good host would- like a bit of bread or something like that and this one doesn’t.

This has to be the worst meal we ever had, fish was terrible they didn't even remove the skin from the fillets,my wife took one bite but couldn't eat the fish , coleslaw and potato salad tasted like straight mayonnaise, would not recommend this place to anyone,I gotten better fish fries from the pizzeria across the street. Wasted 70 dollars they couldn't even take one of fish fries off the bill.

Was really looking forward to this place because of the reviews but the food really wasn't that great..except the bread! Our waiter was very nice and polite so no complaints there .. but the food is very bland and even though it was not busy at all we waited a long time for our food. Wasn't a horrible experience but definitely not the hype as some of these reviews. I've had better food from Bob Evans!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This place was absolutely amazing! My husband and I rarely ever get to go out to have a nice dinner together - it’s even more rare when it’s one that’s fancy and requires a nice attire than jeans and a decent top. But, tonight, we decided to treat ourselves as it is Valentine’s Day. We have never once stepped foot in this restaurant until tonight, and I’ll tell you what - we will 100% be back again!! Our waiter Anthony, was such a friendly and professional and adorable human being. So kind and had such an infectious smile and didn’t seem to mind our cringey dad jokes. He was prompt with our service and had no issues answering any of our questions. The food.. THE FOOD!! Absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, I’m a bit picky when it comes to food. I love my flavors and I’m very keen on things being cooked right. I’ve had quite a few bad experiences which always makes me wary of new places. However, Chef Kevin didn’t disappoint!! Everything was bursting with flavor and melting in our mouths. Not a single complaint! We had the special dinner for Valentine’s Day and we chose the coconut shrimp with mango coulis - honest to god, I could put that coulis on ANYTHING it was that good and the shrimp was perfect! I had the caprese salad and my husband had the ceasar salad, again - perfect. For our entreés, my husband had the surf and turf with purple potatoes and grilled asparagus, and I had the pan seared honey roasted duck breast and a confit leg with a cherry sauce with roasted brussel sprouts and a sweet potato stack and looooorrrddd - we almost licked those plates clean!! Everything was cooked to perfection and had the most amazing flavors. And you can’t forget dessert, The Village Bakeshop coming in with the clutch on super juicy chocolate covered strawberries, and this chocolate covered mousse with a cake-like bottom and a cherry center. Magnificent!! 1000000/10 would recommend and we will DEFINITELY be returning! They need to open up their reservations for next year so I can make mine!!

Table of 6 sat in a room where the curtain used as a divider was dangling by 3 hooks. Looked absolutely trashy. Food was awful. Charcuterie board was ordered for the table and was pitiful...pickled carrots and grapes were the majority of the board, a bowl of crackers a few pieces of prosciutto. Shrimp cocktail were the smallest shrimp I have ever seen. Our table ordered pasta dishes, both chicken and vegetable, and their pizza which was recommended. Pastas were tasteless for everyone. There were so many carrots in the vegetable pasta and hardly anything else. The pizza was burned on part of it. We were so disappointed and all agreed, maybe in the summer it's nice because of the view to come have a drink. Our server however, was very nice.

Staying at the hotel for the weekend, went to the restaurant the first night of our stay. Had to get our own silverware after the appetizers arrived. I had to get my own ketchup for my burger which was 20.00 and okay, not great. Waiter screwd up splitting the checks for everyone at the table and said he can fix it, but he got his automatic gratitity on the check. The next day we used the only microwave in the entire hotel to warm up our lunch. There is no tables to sit at in the lobby, so we sat in the empty restaurant. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant. The same waiter from the night before kicked us out. We won't be going back the next time we are in the area.

It was not opened even though I made a reservation ! I made the reservation on Open Table and got a confirmation number too. And I called the evening before to make sure they'd be open for lunch on Monday and was told yes - we will be opened. Will not be going back although we really like this place.

This restaurant has a nice view overlooking the river in a nicely appointed hotel. They offer a breakfast buffet but at the time we arrived, everything looked dried up and they still had a couple hours left to go. We ended up ordering breakfast from the menu and I'm so glad we did. Our eggs, bacon and toast was freshly made amd arrived to our table hot. The servers were friendly and attentive.

This place probably has a much better vibe in the summer time. There isn't much of an ambience at all inside, it looks like a typical hotel restaurant. Very bright and the decor is basic and old. The food was very subpar. Pizza was okay. Pasta tasted like one of those frozen stove top bags. If you're a tourist From out of town, probably book elsewhere. Pics are deceiving. Waiter was nice tho.

I came to this Restaurant because some reviews and their social media. But, honestly the food was so bad. The worst pizza I’ve ever eaten.

Hi Dear Custumer Service, I was very disappointed when 4 of us arrived to the restaurant Bella Vista on Saturday Oct 21st at 12pm to our reservation and nobody was there to receive us. A blond lady came out of the restaurant and informed us that they don't have a waiter yet. By 12:20pm we were still in front of the door waiting . If I was the Manager I will offer a sit and a glass of water at list till I figure it out what to do. We all left by 12:25pm. No apologies were given at any moment. She just looked at us from the reception across the hallway when we left.
