It's like Cheers, everyone knows your name and it feels like home. Food still fresh homemade, no frozen or processed. Highly recommend the pierogi.

We came up here from Pennsylvania to do a little tour of Niagara falls. My girlfriend chose this restaurant. The food here is to die for. The pierogies, and pork chops are excellent. The sauerkraut is to die for! And our waitress was very, very good! If you come here to visit and you don't come to this restaurant you will miss out on some excellent dining.

I was looking for a restaurant that serves some Polish foods, in Niagara Falls. I'm so glad to have found this place. First off, the restaurant is VERY clean both inside and out. They clearly sweep the sidewalk and doorway which gives a great first impression. A barroom is up front and one passes by it on the way into the dining room. The carpeted floors, walls and tables were so clean, you knew this was a Polish family-run establishment. Our pretty waitress was pleasant and personable. Cabbage rolls weren't available until Thursday (we were there on Wednesday)so I ordered a Polish Reuben sandwich, like a classic Reuben but with grilled smoked Polish sausage rather than corned beef. It was quite tasty. They serve 4 flavors of homemade pierogi so I ordered one of each, potato, Kraft, Mushroom and cheese, fried with some onion. Sour cream was an extra cost, but very little. They were great, though my only criticism is that some butter should have been added to the oil They were fried in. I prefced my lunch with a bloody Mary which was tasty. They make there own mix which is perfectly spicy but not too hot. My luncheon guest ordered a cup of chili, burger & fries and cheese pierogi. He loved his food too. I hear that their fish fry is wonderful. I will make an effort to return here. And by the way, the prices are VERY low/reasonable. Do yourself a HUGE favor and give it a try for lunch or dinner.

With the Notre Dame motif, it definitely made me think I was on the south side of Chicago. Our server couldn't care less about our table, but it made up for with with the food. Portions were decent, and it was a pretty good fish fry.

Our first trip to try the perogies, but it won't be our last. Tried the cheese and the potato. Would have liked the onions a bit more cooked, but the perogies were yummy!
