The BEST hidden gem of a diner my friends and I have ever been to. The owner was so nice and the food was AMAZING! Get the corn beef hash!! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Should have a higher rating if not for annoying, strange fee. Absolutely a wonderful little dive for some local, friendly people and atmosphere. My kids and I spent plenty of time just pointing out the sunshines on the walls. Toddler fun!I wish that I could give a higher rating because our server made the experience fantastic for my kids. But I had to use the ATM, and it charged me two $3 fees to use it. I didn't find that out until I checked my bank statement. To get $20 I had to pay $6!I am a fan of cash only establishment, as credit card companies ruin small businesses. But charging me twice to get cash was just uncalled for and hopefully a mistake that can be rectified.

While looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning, we found ourselves in Niagara Falls. Upon looking online, we found a place which a friend had mentioned a few years ago. This is a very well known hole-in-the-wall diner in Niagara Falls, where people in the locality have visited for decades. This is a cash-only establishment, though they have an ATM indoors. In recent times, most restaurants have raised their price to where its highly questionable if one should eat out or just buy premium products from a grocery store and cook at home. I'm not sure if this restaurant raised their prices, but their menu was considerably cheaper than most diners we have visited. The waitress was a little odd, where she was extra friendly when serving us, and then lost her smile and friendliness as soon as the check was set on the table. But something may have happened in her personal life which made her attitude change. Not sure, but we are all human and life happens. For this, I wont deduct a star. The breakfast was good, a little greasy and generous on salt, but I'm guessing that's how the patrons like it. I do appreciate how this diner is still stuck back in time, and that is one of the things I loved about the place. This diner is a blast from the past, with decent rates, and worth a visit or two. From what I hear, and lot of patrons are aging away, and the younger generation should visit and give it a chance. And if not to become a regular, at least visit this place before it ages into history.

We were so excited to find this place. The outside was adorable as was the space inside. Lisa, the owner, takes great pride in her business. The place was filled with chatty, friendly locals and the food was top notch. We have one more morning here before we head back home and we will be visiting this cafe again!

Decided to try this place because of all the positive Yelp reviews. Have nothing against a hole in the wall, but the service was atrocious. One waitress for about 30 people and she was helping in the kitchen. We were asked 3 times if we wanted coffee, which I declined 3 times. Gave up on getting our order taken after at least 20 minutes, so who knows how long it would have taken to actually get our food. The waitress kept dropping food on the floor and had plenty of time to lead some random kid to wander behind the counter to help himself to something. They have to be paying off the health inspector. Understand when places are short staffed, but when you get attitude for leaving that's just not cool. The waitress told us "you'll just go wait somewhere else." We went somewhere else and in the same amount of time had our food within 20 minutes.

The food was alright. Not great, but not terrible. The reason why it gets such a low rating from me is their "cash only" policy that they don't tell you about until you try to pay the bill with a credit card. They do have an ATM, but what if the unfortunate first timer doesn't have enough cash in their account and was planning on paying with credit or Google Pay? Anyway, who in this day and age doesn't take credit? They do have a small sign at the cashier, but they should make it known before you place your order.
