When I gave him a bottle at the end of dinner, our waiter came and asked us if he could warm it up for us. His kindness really showed. Food was perfect. Drinks, app, steak dinners, dessert. “Walked in with my family and my baby in his stroller at (what looked like) the busiest time for dinner on a Saturday night. The man at the host booth said that there was a 30 minute wait but when he saw us with our little one he was able to fix up a quick table for us. We were okay with waiting because the food and drinks are so great, but as a new mom it meant a lot to me that he went out of his way to accommodate my family. This is the kind of service that you remember and return to a restaurant over. Even though the place was packed, our food and drinks came out very quickly and tasted great. Bathroom was clean. Server was kind too. Next time you are going to dinner, no matter who you are with, you should consider The Hops Spot!! And be extra nice to the man at the door!!“

“This place is truly a gem in the Syracuse area. We recently had a birthday party here and it was perfect. The owner, Pete, couldn’t be nicer and was incredibly accommodating. He wanted to make sure we had the perfect day and it was nothing shy of just that! I very strongly recommend the clipper tavern for a causal happy hour, a place to watch SU sports, a place to throw a party, and any/everything in between!!“
