All the pastries, cakes, tomato pies, and breads, etc, at Mario's are DELICIOUS!! We just ordered the "cake of the month" Mint Madness cake - it was fantastic. Creamy buttercream frosting, custard filling -- to die for. Holiday cookie trays are always packaged beautifully and a great gift for family or friends. Service is great no matter if you go early or right before they close. Always a smile and great selection of items. This bakery is a gem!

Mario's offers your typical fare and is my choice for soft-crust Italian loaf and their chocolate brownies. No kidding, they are spot on. Mario's is my go-to bakery for their service, location and of course taste. They do have strong competition just down the street but honestly, in my opinion, Mario's is just a notch better all around. If they ever figure out a drive-thru, I'm in for life Great products, great flavor, great service. Recommended

I came to this bakery for the first time. I was looking for something to take to a dinner party. When I first came in I went to the case not knowing what I was looking for. The first person was friendly however when I made my decision (I bought a delicious cake in the case) the people behind the counter were no longer friendly. One young lady got the cake and I also wanted to buy a few things in the counter. For one I couldn’t see the girls because it was so high. Anyway the one who got me the cake and asked someone else to help get the other things I wanted and they were pretty rude and said they were busy. So the girl who got me the cake and to come over and help me. I bought some items for my Grandchildren and bought a turnover for myself. I asked to have mine put in another box because I was going home an hour and a half away. She seemed rather upset about it. Anyway the cake was amazing. It was chocolate cake with chocolate filling, white icing with a peppermint flavor and was decorated beautifully. I took it to my dinner and everyone was impressed and loved it. Because the cake was so delicious I will go back when I come to Syracuse I guess I will just have to deal with the rude people behind the counter. If it wasn’t as good as it was I wouldn’t be going back. It’s the first and only bakery I have been to in the area.

We used Mario's for our wedding cake & desserts and they were delicious! The cake was also so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Mario was very attentive to our needs and made sure we didn't over order food, which I thought was a great quality of a company. I will certainly be using Mario's again!

Delicious Italian bakery. However, the staff could stand to be a little friendlier. Several staff members behind the counter, yet nobody greeted us when we came in. The lady who helped us didn't seem to want to be there. Maybe she was having an off day.
