The food quality has really gone down hill in the last few years. I tried it again today because I used to love this place and wanted to give them another chance. The pepperoni pinwheel was cold inside and didn’t taste fresh, it had a tangy taste like it was old and sitting out a long time.The cashier lady was rude and pushy and when we left and said goodbye twice she didn’t even look up from her cell phone or say anything. I paid using a card and she wasn’t happy about that so I felt bad and tipped $2 to out weigh the cost on the restaurant. I regret doing something nice when I was treated poorly as a customer.

This was the last pizza joint within a 5 mile radius of Lido that I haven't tried. Glad I stopped by. Not as good as D'Coccos but a very good slice. Little lacking on the cheese down by the crust, but no flop, god sauce and a crispy undercarriage. The lady at the counter did not smile as advertised and looked pretty sad. Will be back.

Food was delicious! Place is well kept. But the lady behind the counter is not friendly at all. Didn’t say thank you , but was happy to say thank you to the Italian couple that ordered their food. I’ll go across the street next time!

Im local. Born and raised. Since Pergament was where staples is ive been eating at gigantes. The plain pizza is good. I dont eat much else. The girl at the counter is burnt out. Needs a vacation or maybe just a different career. This place won best pizza on long island when i was a kid and that was very true. Sad the old days are old. Ill keep coming back. But thats because i respect the old man who used to run that place. Plus we have enough nail salons.

The pizza is really good and so is everything else we've tried so far. Stracciatella soup was very good and huge. Honestly everything was huge: eggplant hero and pasta with meatballs. The eggplant is sliced super thin too.

I walked in here over a year ago and the girl was the register seemed so unfriendly that I just left. I tried going back today, not sure if it was the same female employee, but she was pretty flat and unfriendly. I ordered a cappuccino, but they didn’t have them, then I ordered a regular coffee with cream, but they also didn’t have that. I finally ordered rigatoni a la vodka, there was no description of it on the menu. When I tried it, I realized it had meat in it. I’ve been a vegetarian for 21 years and never tried an a la vodka sauce with meat in it. I spoke with the employee. She offered me something else on the menu but I asked her I could have a refund, she slapped the money down on the counter. Bad experience, definitely won’t be back.
