We got the chicken kebab combo 1. They gave yellow rice because they ‘ran out of brown/white rice’ . The chicken pieces were undercooked, soggy, anything but grilled… I don’t even know how to explain what it was. We even paid beforehand and went to pick it up for iftar. Extremely disappointed.

We have been looking for somewhere in nassau that makes shwarma and finally found Halal Kebab. Food was fresh, and flavorful! The prices are very reasonable.The very nice gentleman helping me gave me a rice pudding on the house when I said it was my first time there. Im glad to have found this gem of a restaurant, and will definitely be back to check out the rest of their food.

I haven’t had afghan food that good in a long time! I had a number 10 combo after stopping in on a whim about 30 min before they closed. The kebab was tender and flavorful, the lamb was succulent, and the rice had so much flavor it didn’t need the sauces! But the sauces were so good I was spooning it out of the containers after. I had the white sauce, kebab sauce, green sauce and the hot sauce. And even the salad was crisp and fresh. Will definitely be going back again soon!
