I am so glad I was able to visit RJP Oneonta in their 10th year. This bar was iconic when I was a student so I made a stop on my road trip from MD to Lake George.I got 2 double vodka lemonades (cherry and peach, respectively) and also bought a tshirt. The Jug shirts are SO FUN and this is my 9th ?Casey was my bartender, she was fantastic and I was one of two patrons when I went around lunch (Friday of MDW so no students). I usually throughly enjoy going to the red Jug, but my experience today made me never want to return. Firstly, the bar tender was extremely rude and had an attitude the second we walked into the bar. Secondly, we all order a round of green tea shots and let me tell you it was probably one of the worst green tea shots I’ve had in my entire life.

This is a great local favorite for both professionals or professors during semester breaks or other "non-student" times {it's mellow and calm then), and students and young collegiate clients during the evenings in-semester (party time, packed and chaotic, the place to be I do hear, but not me at my age!).
