Charlie's has been recommended to me about a billion times over the years, but I'd never been. Within the last few years I had started to hear about a meatless hot sauce that you could order with veggie burgers for a vegetarian garbage plate. Fish fry, a bit dry, not overdone. The product tasted fine, just dry. Wife's Julianne salad, LOADS of ham and turkey, and the chicken tenders are spectacular. Juicy cuts deep-fried to perfection. This is the Ontario spot, we usually go to the one in Webster and never had a bad fish fry. This could've been a one-off, so I'm not worried about it. We'll do it again. Our kids live in the area. You do get a small cut of actual steak which is great. The food is ok. Better then a fast food but not quite for sit down. It is a legendary local spot that I've wanted to try for years. I would go back but hesitantly if that makes sense my friends.
