Long review since there were 5 of us!! Had a taste for bbq and our original plans fell through so decided to try this place after seeing pictures and Facebook posts. We were definitely not disappointed. The kids all got milkshakes that were creamy and delicious. We then started with the corn bombs that came with a spicy cream dip which went great with the sweetness of the corn. Two of us also got the clam chowder, which is one of the best I've had in a while - creamy, chunky, and a great taste.Boy 1 got the prime Philly sandwich with the garlic parm fries and pork Mac and cheese. The sandwich was stacked with plenty of steak and toppings. The fries were loaded with the garlic parm. The side of Mac was decent size which was very good, but wished it was a bit creamier.Boy 2 got the charbroiled wings with the dawn special sauce. He doesn't like blue cheese, but I loved it.Youngest got the hot dog Mac and cheese with fries, and it was a huge portion for a kids meal. Again, just wish it was a little creamier.Wifey had the plate and it was huge!! She really enjoyed the sides and smoked Cheeseburger, even the meat sauce which she never eats.I went with the 16oz prime rib - call and reserve if you want it as they were almost out before 6, and you absolutely need to try this. The crust seasoning was exceptional and the meat was cooked perfectly. My sides were the Cajun corn and the baked beans, which were both amazing. I would request a bigger dish of au jus and horseradish.Sadly we didn't have enough room for dessert but it's on the list for next time.Parking: To both sides of the restaurant and some in the back around the next door buildingKid-friendliness: Great kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Easy access

My wife and I like to check out new places and have seen this place and since we love BBQ we opted for Heintzelmann's BBQ. The place was neat and clean and our server Michelle was very nice, helpful and personable. Being new customers we were surprised that we were offered a sampler of eight of the sides as well as cornbread with a surprising cinnamon butter to spread on it. All were delicious and made our choice of two difficult. My wife chose a side salad and the Cajun corn. I got the mashed potatoes with gravy and the smoked baked beans. We waited maybe 20 minutes after the sampler and my wife's salad for our dinner, which seemed long but not terrible. The owner Bob had been coming around checking on tables. When our food came out, he also checked on us and apologized for the length of wait. He offered free desert, which we didn't think necessary but very much appreciated. We each got a 1/3 slab of ribs which were tender and delicious without saucing them. There were 3 sauce options at the table. Gold, original and sweet. All good but original was my favorite. I got the pulled pork and my wife the pulled chicken. We took our complimentary desserts to go as we had no room left. We choose the baklava cheesecake and peanut butter pie. Also both delicious. We highly recommend you give this place a try. It's easy to get to and should have been booked solid based on the atmosphere, service and food!

The first time my husband and I ate here was a couple years ago, we both ordered the hot pulled pork sandwich, and when we got it was cold. When it says hot, it should come out that way, specially when your told by the waitress it's their best. Will have to try it again when we're up that way again.

GREAT Place! The food is wonderful. The pulled pork is a must and the brisket....ohh the brisket! Sides are key and they hit them on the money! Usually some sides are good and some aren't, but ALL of theirs are to die for! If you are out and about, stop and say hi, eat til your full...oh and bring me back some PorkMac! Don't forget to get yourself some Pit Style wings...juicy and very very tasty!! This family business is so refreshing to see. Bob, the owner, even stops at your table to make sure you are satisfied. BIG ?!! Enjoy!

The dining room is cozy and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Our server heard it was our first time and she gave us a side sampler to try, featuring most of the sides on the menu. We loved this detail. We were also impressed when the owner came out to greet us and tell us about the process for making the wings. The staff was attentive and made us feel at home. We loved the special for Wednesday, which was 75 cent wings and buy one get one free domestic beers (can or tap). This allowed uto have a very affordable date night. The food was excellent. You can choose to have wings deep fried or charbroiled. I love the crispiness of the charbroiled option. Great variety of bold wing flavors. Bbq and hot are my favorite.

Never have I been blown away by the service and the food as I was here. The staff is friendly, passionate, and very attentive. I can't say enough good things about the food. The prime rib Philly sandwich is out of this world. The chef came out and suggested it, normally it would not be my first choice but it exceeded any and all expectations. Definitely a restaurant well worthy of checking out.

It started out with being asked if it was our1 st time, they brought out a sampler plate. The food was great, the service was fantastic. The owner came by to ask how everything was and talk for a few minutes. It's a veteran owned business. Everything cooked on site, and the corn bread was Great. I would highly recommend this place. We have been several times now and have never made reservations or waited more than 15 minutes, once

The service is the first thing you notice. Very friendly and accommodating. The food (try the bisque) was also very good with ample portions. If you're looking for a romantic atmosphere, well, this ain't it. Good food and outstanding service... you found your place.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible from a non handicap view.

The food was good and the staff was amazing . Even the cook came out to make sure our food was good . I was just a little disappointed with the non existent taste of a smoked flavor . Everything I got had the word smoked in it yet nothing tasted smoked at all . Other than that I think this is a cute little place . The staff is very friendly and the food is very good . Just felt a little misled lol

I dont know where to start. This was the worst food I've ever had in my life. The brisket was inedible. Dry, cooked to death, it tasted EXACTLY like dog food smells. It was horrible! Not juicy, mouth watering, fatty or flavorful, the way its supposed to be. The exact opposite. The ribs were much the same. Dry, tasteless. Nothing smokey about them. They weren't AS bad as the brisket, they didn't taste quite like dog food but they tasted OLD like they had been reheated a couple times after being originally cooked a week ago. The macaroni and cheese... ugh! Totally flavorless and the macaroni was so overcooked was mush! The Kraft Mac and cheese in a box I had as a kid is FAR better by comparison. The garlic parm fries weren't bad. They were good hand cut fries but they didn't taste garlicy at all. My waitress was lovely! I had a lot to say about the food, I was as nice as I possibly could be while being honest, and she was very understanding, very sweet and accommodated me as best she could. I told her about the dog food brisket and the mush mac and cheese etc. She asked if she could get me something else and I said ok. So I ordered the 4 smoked wings... ??‍♀️. They were horrible too. They weren't dry like the ribs and brisket. But they had a strange taste I couldn't put my finger on. I dipped one in their "blue cheese", and spit it out. It was off too! Tasted like an old refrigerator. And it was basically just mayo. No blue cheese. They were bad. So bad. At this point I gave up. THANKFULLY I had ordered a cup of the lobster bisque (which was actually quite good. The ONLY edible thing) or I'd have been starving. The waitress said there wasn't much she could do bc the boss wasn't in but said I should call her later. I'd read some of the reviews before we went there and noticed how the owner replied to people that complained in reviews. So i lnew what to expect. She said to 1 person something like that if they'd said something in person instead of hiding behind a google review she could have done something like given them a "gift card." Well a gift card wouldn't do me any good bc im never going back there. She also commented on a customers complaints saying that she'd read their other reviews and they had "mostly negative reviews," about everything, as if their experience was their fault bc they can never be satisfied. Well if u read my reviews u can plainly see they are 90-95% possitive when it comes to restaurants. And I most definitely said everything I had to say to our lovely waitress. So speaking to the owner wasnt necessary as i already knew my options. Knowing I didn't want a gift card and having my meal taken off the bill wasnt an option I told the waitress if she gave me a bowl of the lobster bisque to go, I'd call it even. And thats how it ended. We paid $70 for that food. But it's done and we were happy to leave knowing we'd never go back. An all around tragically awful experience (except for the very nice waitress).

Hadn’t been here for dinner in a while and was a little disappointed. The quality of the food is a little off from what it used to be. 2 out of 4 people in our party didn’t finish their dinners. The ribs were flavorful but a little tough. The pulled turkey was way too salty and “wet”. Crab cakes were pretty good although much smaller than they used to be. Really isn’t any atmosphere unless a band is playing and you are seated in the area where the band is. Otherwise you don’t know there is a band playing
