Service is so slow, almost non existent. Like you walk in, any workers there are over in the corner by the grill talking. This has happened to me a handful of times. Workers standing around talking, hiding, no one running the register or there to take a simple order. I literally just wanted a bagel. I cream cheese it myself cause I don't like the way they glop it on anyway. Stand around waiting for no help. Like I said this happened several times, it's on my way to work, however as others have suggested I will just take a different route and go to nyack hot bagels, that is always bustling, and the workers there actually work! Unfortunately this place actually looked spruced up today. New layout, and looks much cleaner than before, but unfortunately I will not be recommending or returning! I wish this place can get it together service wise! Oh well! Nice knowing you.

Boy, has this place gone downhill! I used to love this place when it was actually owned and operated by the original Marty. I don't know who makes them now, but they are hard as rocks and the bagel is half the size it used to be, because the "holes" are twice as big. Go to Zimi's or Geno's for good bagels and egg sandwiches.I will say that the apple turnovers, cinnamon rolls and the coffee are very good. And the counter help is very friendly.
Half the reason I show up to weekend drills is because I signed the contract to serve my country. The other half is because the breakfast they serve here.

Six stars if that were possible. The bagels are great. They do really load them up with cream cheese or lox spread, so you might have some leakage. We have good bagels in San Rafael CA, but they are not in the same class with these. Take out or eat in - we managed to be there when it was not too busy so YMMV.

Service was quick However..... Ordered plain bagel with vegetable cream cheese. Could taste jalapeño. Must have been on knife or spreader previously. Ran out of milk for the coffee do brought container over for ease of Associate and she instructed me where to refill it Not for me
